Description

Black Swan Gasket-Aide is an easy to use amber liquid gasket coating that provides enhanced sealing when used with paper, felt, cork, fiber, treated, synthetic, composite, metal, or rubber gaskets. It cures into a high performance elastomeric polymer membrane. Conforms to MIL-S-45180D. Typical polymer tensile strength per ASTM D638-58T is (yield) 6237psi - 7252psi, (break) 7107psi - 6672psi, and (elongation) 110%. It corrects metal and gasket imperfections. The following are examples of products areas of use: Motor Cycle, Power Sports, Snowmobile, Auto, Marine, Air Conditioning, Appliance, Pumps, and more. Part examples of use are: intake manifold, thermostat, water pump, oil pans, primary cover, rear rocker box, lower base, valve cover, oil plug, and so many more. It should not be applied on painted surfaces, or plastic, such as PVC, CPVC, or ABS.
