GUITAR TUNER - QWIK-TUNE

bought this tuner as my first tuner having only recently picked pu an acoustic guitar and i have found it both versatile and very easy to use. I first used the built in tuning pipes function, easily accessed and easy to step through the tones for each string. The tone used is a bit harsh, the volume is at a good level though. This function is perfectly sufficient for the job. Nest time round ki used the in built microphone to tune the strings. The string to be tuned was easiliy identified and the indicators for informing you whther the string is flat, sharp or un tune a very clear. As i dont have an electric guitar i cant review the direct jack input option inluded. Overall i think this is a perfect starting point for easily tuning a guitar.

I'm sure this tuner is probably very useful and effective but... what do I do with it?!I'm a complete novice, tone deaf and bought this to try and tune a hopelessly out of tune guitar.Yes, the arrows light up when I twang a string but it doesn't match the string I'm trying to tune - ie indicates I'm plucking the 'D' string when I'm on actually the 'E' and then switches to other strings while I'm tightening or loosening the same 'E' string.I'm sure it probably works perfectly for someone with an inkling of what to do with it but my guitar is just as out of tune now as it was before I started.A 'Qwik Tune' for me it certainly isn't and it doesn't live up to the 'automatic tuning' promises on its box - although it might have if the package included some instructions or even a link to a website bearing these elusive tips on how to actually use it!

Excellent easy to use tuner. If you are just learning to play a guitar or if you are a seasoned guitarist this is a great little tuner.

okay, so I'm not an amazin' guitar player or anything, so this thing was actually very useful. The little light thing tells you you're hitting the correct note, it automatically powers down after 2 minutes of non-use saving your batteries, it's a doddle to use.Can't fault it.

i bought this tuner when i first started out in learning guitar and found it very hard to work out how to use, despite the instructions. Now i am more experienced in guitar i still find it infuriating to use. The amount of tuning the contraption recommends you do varies VASTLY on how hard you pluck the string...VASTLY. Furthermore If a string is very out of tune it is nearly impossible to tune it as the tuner jumps and does not pick up on the correct string for seemingly and age. i have just spent nearly 20 minutes trying to tune my B string and it as just sapped ff the guitar completely after being recognized as a D string for quarter of an hour. i would not buy this product at such a comparatively high price to other tuners.

Got this for my boyfriend and he loves it, it so easy to tune your guitar with it! Great buy!

easy to use, will always use these
