Silicone makes all the difference when straightening my thick coarse wavy hair. It takes 2 passes but doesn’t leave my hair damaged or dried out. Please don’t ever stop making this!

Out of nowhere my stylist suggested I try a silicone straightener for my texture of hair and it was time for a new one so I researched and settled on this one. So far it does seem to leave my hair smoother than ceramic or tourmaline plates. The only downside to this is not being able to plug it in and know it’s heating up. I have to remember to turn it on and up to the temp I want. It would be nice if I could set it and plug it in every timeAnd not think about it.

If you have thick, curly, frizzy, coarse, and hard to straighten hair, this is hands down, BY FAR, THE BEST flat iron. I use to get my hair Japanese straightened years ago at a salon on the city and they used this exact iron to get my hair pin straight. As you can see from the two images I posted, the pictures speak for themselves. I purchased the 1”, which allows me to get closest to my curly roots, and because of the coarseness, curliness, and frizziness of my hair, I use the highest setting at 450. Good luck! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Most flat irons pull and grab my hair. My hair is shoulder length and fine. The silicone strips on this flat iron help it to smoothly grab and glide across my hair. I love it!

I had to return this product, as there was an electrical problem. It heated up once, for about 90 seconds. Then it shut off and never turned on again. I have to be honest, my hairdresser uses the Salon Tech silicone, and I have serious concerns about the authenticity of the item I received. The on/off switch was in a ridiculous position, and not like the one at my salon. Maybe I just got a factory defect, but why is this one so much cheaper than the others?? I guess you only get what you pay for...

Just about 4 months after buying it doesn’t always turn on. Disappointed by the quality.
