Best for personal projects not job sites
I am a lather. I used this stapler at the jobsite I am stationed at, and I only got to use this on only one huge wall before it started falling apart! Now, I want to give this tool 5 stars. It is a brilliant tool, inexpensive, powerful, does what it's supposed to do..... but I do have to say that it is not made for heavy duty work.About 5000 staples in and the little knob that holds the magazine open falls apart. Then a little over 10000 staples and the drive guide breaks! It was unusable after that. It made me sad because I was actually having fun with the gun since it was very powerful. That's why I say, it's probably best for little side projects but not for construction jobsites.

Gets the job done.
I used this stapler to finish a 8x8 run for chicken and used 1/2-inch hardware cloth. Works like a charm with the staples that was sold with it. It is heavy duty enough for a homeowner.

Great Staple Gun. Easy to load and use and punches the staples in consistently and to the right depth every time. Great price.

This is a great air tool for the money you can't beat it
This was a great purchase for me it's been an excellent staple gun I used it to hang metal lath before I did cultured stone,I used four different links of Staples 7/8 1 in inch and a quarter the staple gun would run anything I put through it this was an excellent investment for me as a Craftsman I would recommend it to the next guy

Where's the staples? Why do they list 1 inch staples if they are not 1 inch?
At the same time I ordered this stapler, there was a recommended "1 inch wide staple", but it was from DeWalt. Well, it turns out that the "1 inch wide staples" don't fit in this "1 inch wide stapler". Why recommend the staples then? Why aren't there "Freemen branded 1 inch staples" available for purchase AT THE SAME TIME!?This really screwed up my project timeline. Hopefully the replacement is appropriate. You can't buy these staples at the local store.

Used for in floor heating install
We purchased this stapler to do a staple down in floor heating job. For the money, it was an incredible value. We used it for around 14 hours straight and shot around 5000 staples. It performed adequately and the depth set gauge worked as intended, we were able to dial it in so that the staples would not pinch the pipe, but would hold it securely. We are quite happy with the value of this purchase.

Is working well.
The freeman stapler is working fine. Good value for dollars spent. Seems to be standing up fine. That being said, it is for my personal use so does not get abused by others. I am not using it as a production tool several hours a day.

Better gun than you think
I run a truss mill and we use these wide crown staplers to hold the truss together prior to plating. Our equipment gets beat up so I thought I'd buy cheap and replace. Had this gun for a year now and it's holding up great.I noticed the guys had our senco gun in the shelf and when I asked why they tell me they prefer the orange gun because it doesn't jam up.Well there you go!
