Good Hold, Easy to Use - Excellent for Guy's with Fine Hair
So this was the second brand of fiber cream I tried. Initially, I used Viking's "Hair Styling Fiber for Men - Pliable Molding Wax Product" on the recommendation of a website, and it was pretty good. As I wanted to be sure I was getting the best brand, however, I later ordered the Hair Dough. Both products are really good, providing excellent hold and not giving your hair a "wet look" (which CAN happen if you use too much), though the hold of the Hair Dough was moderately less strong than that of the Viking. Both products are excellent at making fine hair seem thicker. That said, the difference between the two was really negligible, so I figured I'd bring both by my barber and my hairdresser to evaluate their contents. Both noted that the ingredients on the Hair Dough were few and easy to understand, and that the Viking Fiber Cream contained lanolin and alcohol, which could dry out my hair over time. Also, the Hair Dough had a smell my hairdresser found much more appealing. So I will be sticking with the Hair Dough! Very good product.

Sets up to fast. Not for damp styling!!
I like to put product in damp hair. Comb/set. Then after it dries up run my fingers through it for a more natural look. This sets up like concrete really quick. Not for my hair type. If you style dry and just put a little on fingertips for texture, maybe.

Dissolves well and has good holding power
This is a thick paste, but it dissolves well and doesn’t leave any specs of white residue in your hair. You can regulate the amount of hold simply by the amount of paste you use at a time.

Hold
Hold was great and no white residue

Dry
If you are looking for a product that is closer to a clay, this is perfect bang for the buck. However, I wanted something more moisturizing or hydrating, and was relatively disappointed.

Not the Hold of Crew Fiber
I've been looking for an alternative to Crew Fiber in the event that they ever stop making it. Hair Dough is a quality product, it doesn't have the hold and is not as repositionable as Crew Fiber

Horrible
After reading some of the other reviews I wanted to make the switch but..... I'm not sure if I just got a bad jar or what. It was supper dry hard to mix into my hair, and after just made my hair feel gross.Like I said I might of just received a bad batch I'm not sure, but that's all I have to go on. So that's why the 1 star and honestly if I could I would give 0
