Hasbro Gaming Twister Rave Skip It Game

What a giant hunk of junk!!! This thing is SO cheaply made. It does not glow or blink different colors - there is literally just a thin plastic sticker (think scotch tape) with different color boxes stuck on top of the otherwise clear light panel. Design in general seems poor, I have admittedly not even attempted to use it. The sticker did it for me. I've seen enough. Wow Hasbro, just wow. :/

I loved skip-it as a kid and my daughter loves it now too. I thought this would be a cool version of it for her to enjoy. The hard plastic that connects the ankle to the device is tangled right out of the box due to how it's packaged. The bottom of the skip it doesn't stay on the bottom. it flops all over the place. the lights don't really change much unless it's still. The ankle piece is big and has an opening so my daughters foot gets stuck in it easily and it hurts if she is bare foot. It's not nearly as fun as a regular old-school skip-it.

I bought this for my daughter. Her friends had a similar toy she loved, and she asked for this for her 8th birthday. However, the toy the friends had were much simpler...no electronics, no batteries.This end on this one is very heavy and very hard. It slammed into her other ankle a couple times when she was learning how to use it, and it was very painful for her.This might be good for an older child, but I would not recommend it for a younger or petite child.

Waste of money. I loved the old skip-it. This is a hard plastic piece that goes around and is torn up immediately. It doesn't stay right side up, so everything is scratched. It also doesn't read the "skips" consistently. Overall it was a frustrating item for my 10 year old and ended up in the garbage.

When I was a kid, I had the old Skip-it. I loved it and it was a fantastic workout. Now I'm 22 and I finally dug my old one out, but after all the wear and tear I put on it, it was time to upgrade. I host a small exercise group and our thing is to find interesting ways to exercise so we can stay motivated and I remembered how many hours (yes, hours) I put in to my mastery of the old Skip-it. I bought this new one and at first, I didn't like the design. I thought it was silly, but as my feet remembered my love for the game, I grew accustomed to it. Even the people in my group who can't dance can play with this and we had a load of fun. I would be silly not to recommend this to others. I miss the old design, but the new design does just fine.

Daughter loved it

I bought this for my 7-year old who is really very coordinated. She has used another version of this toy in the past and enjoyed it, so I thought this set with lights and game included would be fun. it was nothing but frustrating for her and me. She had a very hard time keeping the momentum going on this, due to it's size and weight. The ring that goes around your ankle is very generous in size, which meant it easy flew off her leg and hit things around her -- even people. And since it's not lightweight, when you get hit or she misses and hits her other leg, it hurts! Definitely cannot be used without shoes on. The light feature works intermittently and is not intuitive, so again frustrating for her. Disappointing gift, especially given the price tag. Ended up with $8 plastic set from Target that worked well with no frustration!

I bought this product with fond memories of the lemon twist I had when I was a child. Since I couldn't find an actual "Lemon Twist" and since I wanted my kids to enjoy a similar product as much as I did, I ordered this thinking it would adequately suffice. Boy was I wrong! The part that goes around your ankle is WAY too big. It slips off both my children's feet after one or two rotations. The band that attaches to the colored end piece is very inflexible and is twisted so the colored end piece does not rotate and drag smoothly on the floor. Instead it flops around randomly. This is a very poorly designed product. I purchased it ahead of time as a gift for one of my kids, and when I pulled up the order to return it, I see that that the "return window has expired". GREAT! Now I am STUCK with it. What a waste....
