My wife and son have been getting into cake making so I decided to buy an affordable but good looking stand mixer. This FIMEI one looked great and seemed to have some good features so I purchased it. So far it has been a GREAT decision! We have had cakes and amazing bread, in fact, we sold our bread mixer because we decided that it is no longer needed now that we have this. Build Quality Out of the box the mixer feels really well build. It is a mixture of high quality plastics and stainless steel components. The mixer base has suction cups to stick it to the surface top and stop it sliing off. Also desiptie it feeling solid it is also very lightweight. Very pleased. Easy to Clean All the items are dishwasher safe and the mixer doesn't have any awkward divets or nooks, so it is simply a case of running a damp cloth around the outside. 5-10 mins after use and it is packed away. Versatile The mixer has 6 different speeds and a pretty big 5-litre capacity which is easily big enough for my family, perhaps not in a professional kitchen. It can with 3 different attachments, a dough hook (we used for bread) wire whisk (we used for cake) and a flat beater (we have not used it yet). All are very easy to attach. The slash guard we have not bothered with, it seems a little flimsy and we just didn't need it. However, there is all you need it the box to make loads of baking products. Overall. This has been a great cake mixer. It doesn't take up too much room, looks great and is well built. The capacity is large enough for household cooking and I highly recommend it. Very good mixer. Functionally I can’t fault it. We have made bread a number of times and cake mixture a few times and did the job without any issues. Attaching and removing the bits are easy, no struggle. Also the bowl is removed with any real struggle. While it feels light and plastic. It may leave you with the sense of poor quality. But mechanically, it is great build quality. For us, the weight is a great benefit to us. We store it on top of the hanging wall units. At 4.2kg, it very easy to move and take down. I’m comparison to kitchenaid (15kg) and magimix (11kg), you feel more safer storing it in high storage areas. Also less strain on your back.

Great mixer, especially for the price. Looks really good, does the job and has different hook and speed options. Can't complain!

I am really happy with this product. My manual mixer broke down recently and I decided to invest in a more expensive one, hoping to get a good quality product. The mixer is everything I asked for and more. It's sturdy and easy to use and it can easily be clean with a damp cloth. The bowl and the pallets will need to be washed with washing up liquid or in a dishwasher, though. From dough to salad, this mixer can do anything you think off. It's great for any sort of mixing and it keeps the kitchen clean as the mixture is not splashed anywhere. I understand why it's recommended by Amazon. You simply cannot fault it.

My wife wanted KitchenAid or Kenwood mixer but i couldn’t afford such an expensive gift so i have looked at something with quite similar design and features. It has a really nice design, fits well our kitchen and works just brilliant. A massive bowl, high wattage and power, multi-speed, not too noisy. Even most of the time in our family my wife cooks i do cook it quite often too so i’m very familiar with hassles of having bad mixer and this particular one made the cooking experience so much easier. No idea how KitchenAid and Kenwood outperforms this particular one but hey is 3 times cheaper than what my wife wanted and it’s brilliant. Can’t complaint!

Mixer less than 1 year old. Absolutely love it, but the bread kneader hook broke after 3rd time use. Bits of metal fell in bread dough and had to throw out for safety reasons. Have not been able to contact seller directly to see if they will replace the dough hook. In order for the metal to break in pieces, must have been faulty. The other difficulty if you turn the know off too far, it goes super fast so you have to turn down/off 1 speed at a time. Otherwise, I really enjoy the mixer. UPDATE: (March 2022) - Writing to seller was a waste of time, no answer. Contacted FIMEI and they were amazing. They replied straight away and replaced the part at no cost what-so-ever. They also contacted me to see if I received the new dough hook. The company also told me to contact them any time and they will give their support. 0/10 for seller but 10/10 from the FIMEI manufacturers/company. Very, very pleased.

Lovely mixer, I did have a little trouble at the start as I’d managed to lose the instructions pretty much immediately but found a copy online. Cleaning is pretty straight forward as most parts are dishwasher friendly. The main difference is being able to just leave it on whilst your doing a couple other things round the kitchen, as you would normally have to stand with a hand mixer. Makes my life a little easier and saved cramp in your wrist

I found it easy to change the attachments and to use the mixer. Some of the instructions are unclear but its easy to work out, it is noisier than I expected but not that much that it bothers me. All in all value for money and good quality.
