Handy, durable, and it diffuses as advertised.

This diffuser fits perfectly on my Olympus 90mm macro which has a diameter of 2 3/4". Any lens diameter less than that will work of course but the diffuser will not stay in place very well. It did fit on a 3" diameter lens hood but quite snug. At least that's the fit on the piece I received which might vary between samples.There's quite a bit of light loss from the flash as you might expect - 2-3 stops. So for use on cameras with a built in flash, I'd recommend boosting your ISO to at least ISO 400.It does a very good job of diffusing the light. Remember that the closer you get to your subject the softer the light will be. Tilt the diffuser forward for subjects 10" or closer to the front of the lens for the best results.Not as good as a dedicated macro flash diffuser like the AKdiffuser but for the price it's hard to beat. Works well for small pet portraits also.

I needed a light flash defuser for an outing I am going on. One that would fit easly in my small camera bag. And this is perfect. And did a good job when I tested it at home. With one little flaw.... It dang near put my eye out when I removed it from the package. I opened the pouch. And it just exploded And worse... I don't know how to refold it with out breaking it! And now dos not fit inside my bag. Well least it did not add any more weight to the bag. Just wished it wasn't so springy...

Very difficult to fit on the Canon RF 100mm Macro lens... way too tight, and real pain to get on and off. The diffuse did work, sort of. If you're serious about using a diffuser for macro work put what you would spend on this one towards a 'quality' diffuser.

Came with hair all over it? Pretty sure this was a used product. Looks a bit worn but I’m not really suprised for the price. Still gross though. It works fine.

Only have a built-in flash? No problem. This diffuser is simple, cheap, and works perfectly. It can also direct the angle of the light. Sample picture taken using Canon 70D+Tamron 18-270+macro filter+built-in flash+this diffuser

The diffuser is very beneficial for softening light for macro and portrait photography. It is constructed very nicely and works better than advertised. Easy to collapse and store in the accompanied bag. I will buy again if needed or to gift another photographer!

This flash diffuser is incredibly simple, but surprisingly effective. It's incredibly lightweight, folds up almost flat, and comes with a little carrying bag (which is necessary to keep it folded). It's not going to get you super-soft light like a huge softbox or a shoot-through umbrella but it works very well for on-camera flash work and softens light without losing much light. So far I've only used it for macro photos and I'm pleasantly pleased, particularly for the price. Harsh shadows are now nicely feathered and not distracting.I attached a photo of the diffuser mounted to my RF 100mm Macro and it is an INCREDIBLY tight fit. It's tall enough to completely cover the flash head on my LumoPro LP180. There's definitely bigger, bulkier, more expensive diffusers out there that probably produce 'better' light, but this one is really cheap and really lightweight. So far so good.
