Last Samurai Japanese Sword-Katana Honor Comes with Free Stand

I rarely take the time to write a review but I was so impressed by this sword I wanted to take the time to do so. The sword arrived very well packaged. I have a lot of Japanese decor and was really just looking for a samurai sword to put on a shelf as a decoration so for the price I wasn't expecting much but was just hoping it looked nice (I actually didn't even really care if it came out of its scabbard). I was very pleasantly surprised. The first thing I noticed was the weight. The sword is pretty heavy and it looks and feels outstanding. It feels very sturdy. I read some other reviews about the blade not being centered etc. The one I received is perfectly centered and is not wobbly at all although I'm sure it's only intended to be displayed and I suspect if you really started whacking a tree or something with it the blade may start to come loose. The handle looks excellent. Very nicely done. The scabbard is also really beautiful and it included a really nice little matching stand. I saw in some reviews that the blade was a bit dirty and or had a little glue on it and this was in fact the case but it cleaned up nicely in minutes. I also noted in some of the answers to questions that it was said that the blade was not engraved. The sword I received is very nicely engraved with some Japanese characters. The blade is so nice with the engraving that I may even polish it up a little. It should be noted that the blade is not sharpened as this appears to be intended for display use only. The only real defect I noted was when I pulled the sword from the scabbard that the small decorative piece at the top of the scabbard came off with it because it holds the sword tight in the scabbard but I shot a little hot glue inside it and popped it back on and that resolved that little problem. Even with the two minor issues I mentioned which were simple fixes I still felt this easily deserved 5 stars.

Great quality for the price the steel is actually very strirdy and could even be sharpened but the handle would probably fall apart at any major contact, cool decoration and you feel bad ass holding a Katna.

For all you sword lovers. This is definitely one to considered. I got this a gift for one of my business partners. Looking at the price I thought it would be fake looking and made of plastic. I was pleasantly surprised! My evaluation below Price- can't beat that price Style- this sword looks awesome, like an actual sumarui sword, I would have liked a bit more color on it rather it just being black. Size- it's quite large and a bit heavy. Great for a piece to put on your office table or mount it. Packaging- it was bit simple nothing to fancy but I think they left that for the sword itself. Durability- this looks like and feels like the real deal. It's not going to come apart or break on you easily unless you try to cut down a tree with it lol. Shipping- it came with 2 to 3 days and no delays. Overall definitely worth it. By business partner loves it and tells me that people ask him all the time if he actually practices with it.

She turned 18 12/24, with many gifts. She has told us this is her best gift in 18 years. Her Saya (scabbard) was broken but she doesn’t want to part with it to return for a new one. Called Amazon to learn item is sold out. Amazon gave me full refund for inconvenience. Ordered wood glue and will try and fix. It’s like I got my kid back, cause she’s so mature this gift made her a kid again.

Honestly a beautiful sword, the blade is quite pretty. However, please read before buying: First and foremost: I recommend buying a katana cleaning pack before buying. Even though the katana is low grade stainless steel, please make sure to clean your katana after every use and oil the katana as to prevent rust. Humidity and touching your katana blade directly with your hands will cause rust after awhile. Not maintaining a katana properly is what causes rust. Secondly: Although it is not important which way to store your katana (display it within the stand), I recommend storing the katana blade facing up. This is how I displayed it within the first picture. The blade is not sharpened, so it doesn’t really matter since you’re not worrying about dulling the blade, but it’s a more professional and respectful way to store the blade facing up. If you intend to show off this katana, this would be the right way to do so. Not too big of a deal, but storing up is also a way to prevent damage on the katana blade. Last and third (only if you’re curious): Please display the katana with the sheath on! The sheath is meant to protect the blade from the humidity levels. Again, although it’s stainless steel, it can still rust if not tended to properly! Hope this helped

Great quality for the price! I bought for my son as a gift. He's into anime and all things ninja. He loved it and couldn't believe he had a real katana. It comes with a display stand and looks great aesthetically. One thing though the swords slips out pretty easily if you don't hold it up right by the scabbard. Could be an accident if not careful. I am satisfied overall with the quality and would recommend. Just make sure wipe it clean if you wanna be a fruit ninja as the moisture can cause the blade to rust. Otherwise great product.

My husband has always wanted a samurai sword collection and I didn’t know where to start. I found this sword and bought it for him for our anniversary. He loves it! The blade comes oiled so it won’t rust. It’s great quality. Has a nice weight to it. He loves the way the grip feels in his hand. Really impressed

I originally bought this for a decoration did not expect it to come sharpened a little but overall it’s pretty good quality. I thought the stand was pretty trashy, but there was weird residue on the blade and it was sticky and I cleaned it off with my katana cleaning kit, however I put it back in the sheath and immediately when I took it back out 15 minutes later it was sticky again, and I had to clean it off again, and I stuck a cleaning rod in the sheath and I found out there was a gunk in the sheath I couldn’t get the gunk off. This is good if you are going to use it for display but if you want to show it off and pull out the blade not very good it’s OK for looking at and getting your first katana however, I’ve worked with swords for pretty much all my life and, it was one of the cheapest overall pretty good quality, however, bad quality at the same time
