Not for Kimber Customer 2
Very good quality. Packaged well. Delivered quickly. Unfortunately would not work on my Kimber. Ordered the ADE base for a different dovetail but still wouldn’t work on the Kimber. Very sad about that! Not the product’s fault!!! Added this set up to my Dad’s Sig Sauer instead and it works awesome!! Highly recommend this sight for a high quality budget red dot!!!

Fell Off
Took a lot of filing to get the base to fit in the rear sight, put 40 rounds through and it flew off and hit me square in the nose, When it worked it works good for the price, need to make some modifications, longer screws and lock tight , then give it another try.

Great red dot. Bad optic mount
5 stars for the ade red dot! I have this same model on all my pistols and it has always been great.I dont normally write reviews, but felt the need to share that this 1911 mount was complete crap. It is wider than the original rear dovetail sight which forces you to file it down and requires excess gun lube and a sight pushing tool. (Which it actually dented the sight pusher a bit when you use some force).Didn’t want to deal with the extra work to make it fit and nor should I had to as it should’ve been plug and play. Went ahead and just ordered the egw 1911 optic mount and was able to install it on the first attempt. Moral of the story, you get what you pay for.

Good product for a low price
Was a little tight going on my Tisas 1911 but shaved a hair off and works great and looks great!

Awesome product
Incredible quality for such a low price, base took a little bit of fitting to my colt commander, but attaches firmly.
