Great delay
This delay pedal is quiet, adjustable and has a great delay that adds texture to your sound. Just as good as many others out there for a great price. In my experience, this pedal has less noise than some others, indicating good circuit design. Yes, it is made of plastic, so it may not be the tool for that hard core touring or bar-hopping musician. For the rest of us, it is a 5 star product.

This is true analog with a BBD chip, which makes it a steal...
Absolutely fantastic pedal. For a true analog pedal, $25 is a steal. Please note, this pedal has a actual BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) chip that creates the effect. Other "analog" pedals in this price range (for example, the Donner Yellow Fall for $35) are not really analog, they are digital devices that simulate analog. Is this a big deal? Well, if you want standard delay sounds that "sound" analog, then the digital stuff will do it very convincingly (a digital pedal can do a slap back delay and cut the treble so it will sound warmer). However, the great thing about analog gear is that you when you push it to extremes, you get all sorts of great over the top sounds. Think of the distortion from a tube amp as opposed to a solid state amp. I use this on the back end of an arturia minibrute analog synthesizer, and get all manner of incredible feedback sound effects when I crank up the "intensity" knob and start dialing around the "repeat rate" knob on the pedal. You can't do this with digital pedals without getting all sorts of unpleasant digital artifacts. By the way, the next pedal up that is true analog delay? The Ibanez analog delay mini pedal at $120. After that, the boss waza at $150. So again, this is an incredible value.

Good value but distorts easily
Overall, this is a great low cost pedal for those who want to experience a true Bucket Brigade analog delay pedal. I had been craving one for years ever since I accidentally fried my beloved KMD analog delay pedal because it didn't have polarity reversal protection and I plugged in the wrong 9v power supply. :( This pedal scratches that itch. The sound quality is overall pretty good however if you are using a humbucker equipped guitar, it tends to distort the delay sounds very easily. Rolling back the volume knob on the guitar usually fixes this problem. Also some people may really like that low-fi distorted delay sound. That is part of the sound of any analog delay. It's just more pronounced on this one. Still... it has a very lovely warm delay sound, so I can't complain too much. No it's not anywhere near as good as an Electro-harmonix Deluxe Memory Man pedal, however it will get you in the ballpark with some similar pleasing analog delay sounds. Aside from this, the pedal itself is of course plastic so probably not a pedal you'd want to gig with. However for light studio use where you are not stopping on it hard or leave it up on a desk, it's very practical and should last for many years.

Another winner from Behringer!
Here's why I like this pedal.. 1. It is clean. The analog aspect of this has been thoroughly covered in other reviews so I won't rehash all that but would add that -for me at least- the effect has a warm quality to it that I really like even compared to other way more expensive ones. 2. Not over the top! Some pedals that offer Delay are really good too but don't allow you to really dial it down like this one from Behringer does. And I really like that you can dial in a very subtle effect to add just enough delay to accent the guitar tone without killing it and that's a very good thing. 3. Price. It was $25 bucks - cheap - nuff said. 4. Complimentary. This pedal compliments the other pedals I have on my board very well. It will definitely become a must-have addition of that I am confident! 5. Quiet. I am blown away by how noise free and quiet this pedal is. And yes, I am talking about relative noise as compared to others. Is it dead quiet? Well, no. but for me what little noise it makes is probably attributable to the florescent lights or even the power supply block I am running it off of. So no complaints there. 6: Plastic but feels solid. Yep - the Behringer pedals are made from a heavy grade plastic but I have not a second thought about all of my other Behringer pedals and have played out numerous times over the years with some of them.. in fact an older Behringer pedal I own has out lasted a much more expensive Digitech pedal that I purchased less than 2 years back! Final thoughts: Buy it. Its $25 bucks. It works great! Do recommend using it with an AC adapter or connecting to your board. Keep Rocking!

Nice!
As someone pointed out, most of the Behringer pedals are Boss clones, though they said it like it's a bad thing. This one is no exception being a clone of the boss Dm-3 analog delay. Other than being plastic and much less expensive than the real thing, there is nothing wrong with Behringer pedals. If you don't believe it, you can find plenty of side by side comparison videos online. Sometimes you get one that doesn't work on arrival (or doesn't work properly), which is true for just about anything you order online. I have had the same thing happen with Boss, Ehx, and and a few others. No worries, you send it back and get it replaced, no big deal. I had to send an EHX Big Muff back 3 times before I got one that worked properly a few years ago and that is one of my primary pedals (on my second one now). As for this pedal, it does exactly what it is supposed to do, and does it very well. Listening to it, you really can't tell the difference between this, and something much more expensive as far as analog delay pedals go. So you don't get to flash a big name brand on your pedal board, who cares if it works?? The fact is, I have started replacing my existing pedals with Behringers as they wear out because I can't see, or justify paying hundreds more for something that does the exact same thing and sounds virtually identical in all but a few cases. When my big muff goes out again, I will be using the Behringer copy, it's just more cost effective, and I have had a chance to use one, and I think it actually sounds a little better than the EXH.

Great analogue delay at budget prices. Sounds just like the og.

This is an analog delay pedal and if connected before the crunchy pedals gives the sound a nice tape delay without adding noise. It starts to induce noise heavily when most pedals cross 75% level with a shrill. This can be used with control over knobs to give a sci-fi effect and can be reset easily with the knobs reduced to lower values. The only trouble is getting that 'slap back' delay is not easy. It depends upon the tempo of playing and this delay needs to be calculated according to that tempo. Trial and error is needed but there is a headache if tempo crosses certain value, this 'slap back' delay will not be induced at all! Ok product for seasoned players with technical knowledge only not for beginners.
