iDesign Lineo Dish Drainer Mat, Square Silicone Draining Board Mat for Kitchen Sinks, Red

I bought this to sit under my metal dish drainer of the exact same colour so can only comment from this perspective. I bought for 2 reasons - to ensure if the metal feet scratch or rust they will not damage the draining board, and because of the aesthetics (looks more complete). I have had this in place - nice and large for my large size dish drainer - for several weeks. Unlike a couple of reviewers I haven't found any colour change, perhaps as it's red; it's a good thickness and quality too. However, like some other reviewers I must point out that there is no way water in the grooves can drain away , and although very little from my dish drainer, this is annoying, as I have to tip it up weekly to get rid of drained water. I believe if I was using this on its own, and had a hook to hang it on (there is a hole at the shortest end) this would not happen, but this is not the way I'm using the item and I'm unsure that any consumer might have a handy hook to store the drainer. This is why I have not given 5 stars.

It does the job, but then the water is all sitting on the mat and you can't pick it up without spilling it.I use mine to protect my lovely new porcelain sink and to protect the crockery and glasses - so it's laid on top of the draining rack. I'm thinking of drilling a few holes in it to let the water flow away. (Admittedly, this is something that I can do for myself - albeit, it won't be perfectly neat - and it's not something that every customer would require.)I have another one which to plan to use alongside the cooker, to protect my lovely new solid oak worktop from hot pans.

So glad I decided on this mat, I use it mostly for hand washed pots and pans as well as a heat mat occasionally. Very easy to clean the grooves in the mat and to roll up when not in use.

Was initially pleased but needs constant emptying and washing and looks beige ish now. Have returned to using my clear plastic one with the draining spout.

I bought to use as a bin mat to stop it sliding around the kitchen. Works great as that! As for it's use as a real dish drain mat, I think it feels a bit thin and cheap compared to one I have from John Lewis for about the same price.

The hook attached to the mat is really really difficult to remove. It obviously looks like a screw driver would do the job but it doesn’t take into account older customers with dodgy hands. I ended up poking about with scissors. Very stupid but eventually I got it off. Nice strong mat exactly what I wanted. But p,ease look into that hook

Great for sink drainer. Neat did not want a one with dish rack and such which is the first think that hits you in the eye in the kitchen. This compliments my streamline tidy kitchen.

This mat provides a large draining surface and is heat resistant, so I can put items out of the oven straight on to it.I am very pleased with it.
