This is a really useful piece of equipment if (like me) your drilling skills aren't all they should be. It helps hold your electric drill square to the workpiece and that's really useful.Just a couple of minus points. First, as others have pointed out, it's not much good with masonry drills whose points are wider than their bodies. Second, with smaller size drills the depth of the hole you can achieve is reduced by the depth of the guide block. I frequently have to start the hole with the block in place, and then remove it before I can drill to full depth.Overall though a useful addition to the toolbox.

Gebe selten Bewertungen ab, aber diese Bohrschablone muß ich mal loben. Der Preis ist gerechtfertigt. Das Werkzeug ist stabil gebaut. Habe inzwischen schon an die 200 Löcher damit sicher und senkrecht in Holz gebohrt. Ohne den Drillbohrer wäre es im wahrsten Sinne meistens "schief" gegangen. Eindeutige Kaufempfehlung.

This is great, and it gets into fairly tight places, obviously it won't entirely replace a pillar drill but at the moment I can't think of many jobs it isn't accurate enough for. I wish I'd bought one years ago!There are cheaper ones out there but i opted for this one as it comes with a 12mm bushing, as i hope that 12mm dowels will be ideal temporary shelf supports for configurable shelving in my workshop.

Very good item, at least i can drill a straight hole now.
