I got this because I walk my dog at night in our neighborhood. I want drivers (and other walkers) to be able to see us on the sidewalk. I can clip it to my shirt, a jacket, or my dog's leash and head on out. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for something similar. It's easy, it works well, and it seems to be well made. Ease - I didn't have a problem at all getting it ready the 1st night. And the clip is small, but it works well. Brightness - It's great. My wife may laugh a bit when she sees me glowing as I head out the door, but hey...it's all good. Instant party for the dog walk! I've had it in rain and snow, and I haven't seen any problems. The battery seems to work fine, too. No problems in charging. All in all, I'd recommend it. Thanks for reading!

I bought a few of these to help make bath time more fun for our child and more tolerable for the parents. I wish it had usb C hookup, but they are great.

without reading other user reviews, got one for 10yr old to clip to back of life jacket while we are surfcasting for striped bass on beaches at nite so I can keep track of him We have both been so happy with it that I actually took time to write a review in response to some of the unknown mentioned issues, this is what we found so far To attach to life vest rather than wasting zip ties, use a Small water bottle carabiner/ clip holds it very securely Bought as we were going thru a glow stick every nite whether we fished for 1 hour or 8. This has been a much more flexible option It has been wet with saltwater several times, even thru a self- inflating life vest deployment, and withstood fresh water wash downs. The light it emits, esp green is extremely bright, even under bright moon conditions. Dark nites it has been almost too bright. plenty of light emits well thru the full length and with the easy twist off top the end emits enough to be used to light way when walking in emergencies when he lost his headlight in the ocean. To make charging easier was able to install a magnetic charger tip that we use on all of our various household electronics and the cap is able to securely lock on. has lasted and recharged within spec guidelines with no issues. I got these to attach to guy lines so people on the campground don't trip on our tent. For this purpose it works well. They don't illuminate much but work as a marker. At the very least, would like to see a battery improvement to extend their usefulness. With the current specs, I have to be careful not to turn them on too early, otherwise they die before the last ones by the campfire go to bed. Additionally, it would be nice if they had a bright white light to offer better illumination, which would make these lights more versatile. In their current form, they make decent markers for trip hazards, just have to work around the battery life.

Received this as a gift and loved it so purchased some for others as gifts too. Great for evening walking in the neighborhood. Easy to charge and super lightweight. It’s got a nice flexibility. It doesn’t seem to be brittle. I hung it on a backpack while walking and it didn’t make any swinging noise. I like the color changing choices. I’ve not had to charge it too often so battery is good & lasts. I wish it had a clip like on a badge holder as an option for using it but I still really like it.I’ve bought other light sticks that run on button batteries & they don’t hold up to the life on these lights…thanks for another superb product Nite Ize!!

Bought this to walk my 10 lb dog in the dark. I use it for 30 minutes every morning, and 30 minutes every night, and have to charge about once every two weeks. I clip it on the leash and it works well to alert cars and other walkers. Highly recommend.

This thing is great at festivals or when camping. 2 major flaws and one minor one hold this thing back from being a perfect 5 star product. I wish they’d update this and I’d probably buy a bunch for all of my camping and festival gear. Cons: A - It charges using micro-USB. Anything not using USB-C is unacceptable for a product in 2025 IMO. B - The charge port is beneath the cap that hangs the stick. This makes it very easy to lose if you aren’t careful. C - It’s not dimmable. Pros: Battery powered so no waste. Just bright enough for folks to see you in the dark and enough light to see your feet and not trip on things. Not “too bright”.

The rechargeable feature is a plus. The minus is the brightness isn’t there.

I love how bright and cute this glow stick is and most of all, that is is rechargeable able and avoids plastic waste of the single use ones. I got this for my daughter for camping as it was always fun to have glow sticks to hang use and/or hang from the tent. This glow stick is actual useful and puts out great light. Would be great as a light for visibility walking the dog or at a campsite etc light lasts a long time and charges like all other rechargeable devices.

This belongs to my kids, and whilst they are too young to watch/understand Star Wars, they love running around waving it about and making slashing sounds. This looks similar to a chemical glowstick, has similar brightness, but you can turn this off when you're not using it and recharge it for later, plus it changes colour. The little clip on the end is good for attaching to zip pulls and lanyards too so it's less likely likely to get lost. Great little toy/lightsaber thing that after a month of being tortured is still going strong.
