So far so good
Been running for a couple months now and if it holds up this is a great mini split. Quiet and efficient. The install was not as easy as it looks and the directions miss a couple key points. For example the wall hole cover that mounts inside has a flat side. This goes down so the the air handler cover can fit over it but I couldn't find anything about it and put it on upside down. One end of the coolant lines have a short and long tail.. this goes to the outside compressor connections. This isn't mentioned until later in the directions and I ended up unrolling the wrong end. There needs to be sticker on the hose end identifying it. But even with some blunders I got it together with a helper in one long day and it sure was nice to avoid the outrageous fees AC installers quoted - I saved over $2500 doing it myself!

Happy so far
I have been happy with the performance of this unit. I was disappointed that it didn't arrive until the last day of the window provided and one box had a dent but otherwise very happy with the shipping. I expected a power cord included to go from the condenser to the disconnect but it wasn't included. Installation went well, I suggest planning it all out before starting.UPDATE 11/7/22We have used the unit a lot and it has been excellent with a smaller hit to our electric bill than expected. The issues we are having is having both the wall thermostat and the remote which work independently of each other and read two different temps.

Works like a champ for a fraction of the cost of a professionally installed unit.
I was getting quotes of $6,000 for similar units. I got this one on Amazon for about $1,800 and got 10% back on my card so I was wondering what kind of a "deal" Id really get. I paid an electrician to wire it up. Im guessing his bill was 5 or 6 hundred (I had him do a lot of additional work to my garage). So for well less than half of other quotes I got this for my garage. Here in the South, it is brutal and the humidity is just something no-one wants to work in but this thing is the deal. My garage feels great and it dehumidifies the room in no time. I have a 2+ car garage and it seems like it takes minutes to get comfortable. I have a Mitsubishi split in another house "basement" and I love that unit so that was my benchmark. Although I only got this one installed a month or so ago (in July) I am extremely happy. I wish the technology had been around a long time ago and I had the disposable cash, its been a game changer for me. Now my garage is an extension of the house and Ive got a ton of room to work in. Now my wife isn't crazy about it because she isn't allowed to park inside anymore when Im working but thats another story :-)

Great!
After getting one 5k quote after the other I decided to go with this unit and boy I’m happy.I don’t know about the energy efficiency yet, but this thing was a miracle in the cold days. 30 minutes and the uninsulated garage was perfect. The installation was easy but you need a few extra parts and bits to get it done. It took me a couple hours for the cement slab and 4ish hours for the AC install with wiring.Don’t buy the pre made slabs because they are foam on the inside and if that thing goes bad you are ****.My point is that once you installed this unit you can not move the pressurized lines again without taking it apart and calling someone to pressurize them back.

It is what it says it is. Buy it
Bought it for my basement, Installed easily (besides having to cur a hole in the concrete (not Mr. Cools fault). Had some issues with a bad breaker (also not Mr. Cools fault). Bought the mounting bracket for the outdoor install. It's worth the extra money to avoid hiring someone to charge your system with coolant. The outdoor unit is incredibly quiet. The unit cools and heats perfectly. It came with 2 "thermostats", the remote and the wall mount unit. and both sort of fight with each other, you are better off just picking which one you want to use. couldnt get the wifi adapter working, and the bluetooth connection to the thermostat only works when it's enabled.

Very quiet and efficient.
My husband was able to install this unit in our home that is 1400 sq ft. Put the cooling unit above our dining room window. Cools the house fast and way quieter than I expected. We had a window unit before. This is much nicer. Love it.

Good system, you do need to purchase a few extra items.
