**Scroll to bottom for 6 years of use updates** I have a 7 1/2 year old Golden Retriever. She has been on Connectin Chewables for almost 2 years now. They work wonders! We do lots of distance running and long (3-6 mile) off leash hiking. During these hikes she is a high speed wild girl likely covering 10x the ground I do (think sprinting 30 miles). At 5 years old she was getting sore after our hikes. It got to the point that she was noticeably stiff for several days after a hike. I put her on Connectin and within a week she had NO stiffness. At one point I tried taking her off the Connectin (to see if it really does work). After about 1 week she was stiff (going up stairs, on and off furniture, etc). I put her back on them and again only took 1 week for her to be her agile self again. She is small at 53 lbs. and I give her one tab every morning. She runs with me too and during some of my pre-race training while ramping up the speed/distance of our runs I have doubled her dose to 1 tab 2x/day. I did a lot of pricing and comparing products before settling on this one. It is important to me to give my K9 Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and Hyaluronic Acid. This is one of the ONLY products that has all 3 and it has the most of all 3 of all the products I viewed. Additionally, it is VERY reasonable priced when compared to other products with similar amounts of ingrediants. Particularly the Hylauronic Acid, this seems to be an expensive supplement. I LOVE this product and HIGHLY recommend it!!! ** Update: 2 years later my dog is now 9 1/2 yrs old and has been on Connectin for 4 years, and I couldn't be happier! Occasionally she gets a little sore after a long off-leash hike, but the soreness disappears within 24 hours, and that's on her normal dose of 1 pill daily. If I double her dose for a few days I can literally do anything with her experiencing no visible soreness. I couldn't be happier with this product. Also, when I spoke with my vet about pup's arthritis and if I should consider doing something else (different supplement or an injectable like Adequan), the vet said dog looked great and continue using the Connectin! ***Update: My wonderful golden is now 12!!! We've moved to Colorado and actually lead the most active life yet! Hiking up and down mountains. Her arthritis has progressed over the years and her hips are weak. But with the Connectin she rarely gets stiff. I do double her dose when we go camping and are hiking multiple days in a row. The real update here is I go to a new vet. She was skeptical of the Connectin and had me put my put pup on Glycoflex (a highly rated supplement) combined with Myristin. For 3 months I had my dog on all three supplements. Then I took her off the Connectin all together but kept her on the higher recommended dose of the other two. Well... within two weeks my pup was getting very sore, loosing her range of motion and having a hard time with stairs and getting on the furniture. So of course I put her back onto the Connectin. And as I expected, within a couple of weeks she regained her range of motion and lost all of her soreness. Took her off the Glycoflex and Myristin! I can't say enough how much I love and appreciate what this supplement does for my dog. I am convinced her high activity level is what's keeping her so "young" and healthy at 12 years of age! Without this supplement she would be essentially home-bound and not able to lead the wonderful lifestyle we both love so very much.

This is a product that I have been using for a year-and-a-half now for my 8 year old/35 pound dog's joint condition. My veterinarian and I have tried several possible remedies to help a joint condition that resulted from a leg injury, and this is part of the settled regimen that obviously provides relief from pain, increases her joint flexibility, and makes it easier for her to get the exercise she needs (we have her on a special diet, this product, another veterinary over the counter glucosamine supplement, an omega-3 supplement, and a prescription nsaid). This product is delivered in a 150 tablet plastic container. Each tablet provides 500mg of glucosamine (derived from shellfish), 250mg of mucopolysaccharides (a bovine source of chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid), and 9 vegetable and herbal supplements that are thought to promote healthy joints (yucca root, nettle leaf, alfalfa extract, devil's claw extract, celery see, black cohosh root, ginger root extract, tumeric extract, and cayenne pepper). The tablets are chewable and flavored to appeal to canines - i break the pill in half and my dog happily takes each half of the pill from my open palm before her afternoon meal. This merchant provided excellent service: the parcel was appropriately packaged and shipped promptly. It arrived in good condition very quickly.

This item has been life changing to say the least! I noticed my dog started having issues with the stairs when he was about 10 years old. We started giving him the In Clover Connectin Hip & Joint supplements after a strong recommendation from a local pet store. Within 3-4 weeks, we saw a huge improvement in his mobility. He’s now been on this supplement for over 3 years and his quality of life has increased dramatically. He can run up & down the stairs, jump, run, and keep up with his younger dog sibling. Had it not been for the hip & joint supplements, I believe he would have needed a medical intervention. We are truly grateful for these supplements and highly HIGHLY recommend for anyone who’s looking to help their dog’s mobility, whether due to age or injury. For reference, our dog is a 20ish pound cockapoo.

I have 3 dogs on this product now. A 14 yr old, 55# shep mix with severe hip dysplasia. I tried him on this product even while on the Rimadyl and there was still a significant improvement in less than 2 weeks. He's been on it ever since. He still walks with us every day. Another dog is a 9 yr old, 65# shep mix who had TPLO's done on both knees. One last year and one this year. She is not on any other medications or anti inflammatories and the Connectin is working great for her. She plays without restrictions or difficulty. The other dog is a 7 yr old, 60# Border mix who was becoming lame after any exercise, even after long periods of rest. I'd use the Connectin on him as needed but he would come up lame after we stopped. So he's been on it continually and he plays hard with no restictions and hasn't been lame in a long time. Amazon WAS the best price I could find and I have 6 animals, 5 of them medium to large dogs so I MUST find the best prices. I was about to order tonight even tho I noticed the price had gone up from the last few purchases but while I was shopping for other things I noticed that there was about a $3-$4 increase in price WHILE I was shopping. That is a pretty drastic jump all at once. So sorry to say I have have found it cheaper elsehwere. $36.46 for the 650gram tub and free shipping. Bring the price back down and I will continue to buy it from Amazon. Great product!
