This is an excellent tote for a teacher! It's made of a plastic-like heavy type of canvas material. It zips up at the top and it sheds water well. I discovered this when I happened to be caught in a downpour I was not expecting while walking from my car, in the far parking lot, to the school's front doors.There is a reflective band of material around the top, in case you are walking to your car at night. There are several zippered pockets inside that you can use to stow a wallet and cell phone. I do not even carry a purse anymore during the week. I just use this tote for everything.This tote is large enough for my laptop, several binders, my lesson plans and materials, my lunch bag and my regular "purse items" (hairbrush, wallet, cell phone, car keys,sunglasses, lipstick and checkbook).Plus it has a cute saying on the front that students like to read and repeat back to me.I love it and I use it every day! I bet you would like it as well.

This tote was purchased as a gift for my son's kindergarten teacher. Amazon shipped the tote very securely, and the quality of the material appeared quite durable, but keep in mind I am not using this tote. The tote is very spacious, and my son's teacher loved the bag. She actually choked up after reading the words. I would recommend this bag.

I saw this bag and I knew I HAD to get it for my daughters Pre-School Teacher. I gave it to her on the last day of class, she loved it! I noticed she read it on her own, she turned around with a big smile and said "I agree."It is not a small bag...it's quite spacious! Material is great. It also has an elastic strap inside so it can hold two pens/pencils. Shipping was FAST! I'm glad I ordered it ahead of time. I see now, they are not available. I am very glad I purchased this item.

I purchased this as a gift for an aspiring teacher. I was expecting compartments inside the bag, but it's very nice and sturdy for the price. I think she will love it. I am filling it with cute teacher supplies. I would probably order from this company again!

I bought this bag for my daughter, who is a teacher. She LOVES the bag. It looks nice, is very roomy and appears to be sturdy (school will start in August so we’ll see how it holds up). I also love the “teacher descriptions” on the bag! Wonderful purchase!

I just noticed my extremely picky daughter has been using this as her daily bag. She told me if she didn't like it, she wouldn't be using it, in reply when I asked her if she liked the bag.
