Q: What is the air vent for? Air yes I know. But will the dough be pushed out?

I have used these pans for a year and I like them. A little dough does come through the air vent but it doesn’t affect the end product.

Q: Does anyone have a recipe for bread in this 4 in pan? Bought the pan but I can find the right size recipe.

I use my favorite bread recipe which makes 2 full size loaves so I make a quarter of the recipe.

Q: How much dough would you place in this pan? About 8 oz.?

8 oz is a good measure for this loaf pan.

Q: Can I bake bread without a lid?

Of course you can. It will likely rise out of the pan but just try it.
