Outset Stainless Steel Flexible BBQ Kabob, Set of 4, 30-Inch Long Barbecue Skewer, 1 EA

I would like the flat/rod part to be fatter, and the length to be shorter. I believe you can buy shorter ones so that could be easily fixed, but the 'fatness' of the rod is a design issue. I found that, even though flat, because the rod is so narrow, kabob pieces still easily spin around on the skewer as they get about halfway cooked and less firm, then these skewers become just as much of a pain as the typical skewers that you thought you were avoiding by purchasing these. I would say if the rods of these skewers were abut double the 'fatness' that they are now they'd be perfect and food would spin while trying to flip the skewers, but as it is, I'll be looking at and purchasing something else in the near future.

They are skewer, not much else to say. Works great.

I ordered three sets of these skewers and only two were the heavy-duty type described on the product page. The third set was made of considerable thinner metal and bent quite easily. I needed two of the sets for gifts and I was unable to return all three to Amazon due to time constraints. Instead, I bit the bullet and gifted the two nicer, heavier sets and kept the thinner, cheaper looking set for myself. The 3 star review reflects the difference between the two 5 star skewer sets and the one 2 star skewer set. If you get the heavier version, they are pretty nice, if not, they're pretty flimsy, though still serviceable as skewers.

Meat is hard to get on the skewer, the 'pin' is not sharp at all, and with high potential to hurt yourself.

Love these skewers! Saw them on a food network tv show and purchased a set for home. Holds meat and seafood securely and there is less slippage. Can cook twice the meat/veg at one time. Recommend to all.

Totally useless. First, the skewers themselves are made of steel cable. Leaving the question of how safe it is (I would suggest to clean it very carefully and season it in a hot grill at least), they are simply impractical. They cannot keep the shape.Try moving this skewer around Kamado and you will understand what I mean. Next, the tip of the skewer. It is thicker than the cable itself, so when you put the meat on it, the piece of meat ends up being quite lose on the skewer itself. And when it is cooked, it is the opposite - it becomes very hard to get it off.

Totally love this and wasn’t sure I would. You can fit a ton of meat on them then easily throw into a ziplock bag since they bend for easy marinating. Easily fit on bbq as you could twist it around other food on the grill

These work great I bought them for a present for a in-law and they loved them.

Very expansive. Quality is not as good as the amount charged. Just ok quality but very expansive. Not going to buy more for sure.
