Integrated motion sensor is fantastic.It varies the lightsaber sound as one swings it.Pretty cool.And the durability is good.I have read reviews where kids broke it.But it would have to be swung pretty hard on a hard surface to break it.I imagine boys would have no problem breaking these.It's a fun toy and good lightsaber.Personally, the Kylo Ren saber is more fun as it makes more impact in looks and noise.

Very light and sensitive blade. It's not a durable enough to pretend play a light saber battle, as you will accumulate damage in the "blade". It's very sensitive so it might play an incorrect sound effect. Overall though it's nice to have a cheap "blade" that has sound effects to go along with it. Keep in mind it requires 3x AAA battery's.

My 8 year old son LOVED this! I bought it to go with his Luke Skywalker Costumer for Halloween. It worked well and it is sturdy. The sound is loud enough and the light is bright.Worked well for what we needed it for.

When the sword 'blade' collapses, it doesn't close all the way (the lowest chunk of the sword remains extended and the other parts collapse into it). I use this as a modeling reference for my 3D animation class and if the blade collapsed all the way into the handle it'd make it way easier to carry around. I'm not sure if kids would care about that detail but it's something to note.

Bought this about a month or 2 ago. My son still has it, and loves to play with it. It's pretty sturdy, and lights up great. The sound also works well. Great buy for the price :)

I understand that this product has been discontinued by the manufacturer, so expectations cannot be set all that high, however I would strongly recommend against buying this particular item. Why? Well, for one thing, putting in batteries was a bit annoying due to the sliding part in the battery pack to supposedly make it easier to insert your three triple-a batteries. A minor inconvenience, but still a bit of a pain. And then, when I had inserted all the batteries, the thing wouldn't turn on! So I repeated the process of taking out and putting in new batteries several times, spamming the activations switch many times. I had given up, until the family member came over and turned it on easily! Turns out, it wasn't the batteries, but the poor manufacturing in the switch. Extremely disappointed in this saber.

After months of searching, we've finally found Rey's (and Luke's before her, and Anakin's before the both of them) blue light saber! The lights and sounds are cool, the hand grip on the hilt is good, and the battery lasts a good long time. Compared to the other Hasbro lights-and-sounds light sabers we've owned, the telescoping feature seems to be better-constructed, and doesn't loosen as easily with use. Just be careful not to buy this for more than the retail (~$30). Amazon's third party sellers really like to price gouge!

I found it at £10 elsewhere. So value for money is ok. I dont think it is a bad toy. It lights up well if you have the room lights low. Very quiet sounds tbh.

Das Lichtschwert wurde schnell (noch rechtzeitig zu Weihnachten) geliefert und war das perfekte Geschenkt. Negativ war das die Leuchtkraft leider ein wenig schwach ist, dafür sind die Soundeffekte toll. Das Material und die Verarbeitung finde ich für den Preis angemessen. Habe den hier erwähnten "China Mist" schon bein Discounter in den Händen gehabt und da liegen Welten dazwischen. Zur Haltbarkeit kann noch nicht viel sagen aber die ersten Duelle hat es gut überstanden. Das Bladebuilder Feature finde ich persönlich unnötig aber die Kids hatten gleich ihren Spaß daran sich eigene Kombis zu kreieren. Also ich würde es wieder kaufen bzw noch andere dazu kaufen. Man sollte unbedingt beachten das bei diesem Modell keine Batterien enthalten sind.

Notre fils en est fan. De la lumière, un bruit pour alumer le sabre, un bruit quand on bouge le sabre, un autre quand on touche un objet avec et le bruit du sabre qui s'éteind.
