The candles burn nicely and if the color isn't important, they're fine. However, I ordered these expecting them to be red (based on the product photo and the color description of "red") to use in holiday evergreen arrangements for friends. The color is more purply burgundy, and somewhat muted (not vibrant). If you're looking specifically for a red candle (like the example of a different brand of candle I had on hand as shown in the photo), you will be disappointed.

A little more than half of the candles were broken but the breaks weren't visible until the wrapping was off each candle. By then, it was too late to replace them. The table was being set for Christmas dinner. Fortunately, the breaks were not terribly noticeable with the flowers around them, but the breaks were about halfway up. I was also not pleased with the color. The candles were shown as RED, when, in reality, they were wine colored and dull. I would have ordered a darker rose to use in the flowers had I known that the candles were not going to be red.

The candles are nice but the color is more of a deep red and not a Christmas red. Will use them for emergency lights when power goes out.

Extremely disappointed. Red is not red - it is a burgundy or merlot.

These candles are a waste of money, they burn way too fast! Very disappointed
