I am super pleased with my purchase of the Mustart charger. It worked like a charm for over a year. A few weeks ago, I contacted the company with an issue. In short order (literally a couple days), I had a replacement charger on my doorstep. No hassle, no run-around, no waiting. They rectified the issue immediately. I wish all companies operated in this manner! If their response to my issue is any guide, it should offer you some confidence in purchasing their products. To boot, the charger works great!

Excellent quality and function. Nothing to complain about. It looks great, seems high quality rather than cheap, and works flawlessly.I like how it shows the total charge in the LED at completion, in kilowatt hours. This is highly accurate as well. My BMW 330e has a usable battery capacity of around 9 kWh in its 12 kWh battery (3kWh reserved as buffer). When fully draining the battery, it recharges completely and shows 9 kWh charged - spot on.This model does not have wifi connectivity for smart functions or connection to apps, but a slightly more expensive model is available with these features. I probably would have purchased the more expensive unit had I realized, but since the MyBMW app mostly provides this function it isn't really necessary.If I were super picky I'd suggest improving the tactile feel of the J1772 plug. The 110 volt charge cord that came stock with the car had a bit better feel to the plastic plug end and release button - softer plastic than this unit. Certainly not a big deal, but since it is the part of the charge cord touched daily it would be something to consider.

I purchased this to replace an old charger that decided to lose a battle to my snowblower... This MUSTART unit looked to be the best price/performance ratio and was available quickly.Upon recieving the charger I was pleasantly surprised both with the large case for it and the included accessories. There weren't any pictures of the case on the listing and I wasn't expecting one. Additionally, it included a holster for the charger for wall mounting and also a cable hanger. I already had a cable hanger, so I didn't need that part, but the holster was a very nice improvement for my charging setup.I've had the charger hanging outside under the eve of my house for just over a month now - through weather from approximately -10 degrees up to mid-50s (Wisconsin gets fun winter weather) and it has operated with no issues at all.I'd definitely reccomend this as a nice upgrade from the lower-power included car chargers.

A very no frills charger. You plug it in and it works. It may not have all the extra frills but also dosen't cost nearly as much! Also, it has a nice long 25ft charger cord. That is important, longer is definitely better on charger cords.Customer service was not super helpful but tried. Mine got dropped from its mounting location and the clip that holds the charger handle to the car broke. I emailed Mustart and they weren't willing to send me the 1 part I needed or a new charger. But if I were to pay 60.00 for shipping they would send me a used one for free.Update:I took off 1 star because I never am going to get the different charger.1) It was going to be a used charger.2) I was only going to get it after I gave a verified 5 star review and paid 60 dollars in advance for shipping. Then after that they would send out the used charger.We couldn't wait that long honestly. I should have just said it wasnt working as it was still under warranty. I only asked for the little clip that had broke and they Said no.I did like the charger but it probably shouldn't have broke falling from its cradle anyway. But I thought I should be honest, it did fall and hit the ground.But I would think that's not uncommon anyway.I was still recommend it if you want to save some money and don't need any frills. Just don't let it fall and hit the ground.

Love the way you can simply open the box and plug it in (if you have already installed the 240 volt receptacle at your house). Car is charged within a few hours, so it makes sense to plug in even for short periods between trips. Have been using it outdoors (we don't have a garage) and have had no issues. Would recommend.

This Mustart 40 amp level 2 charger works great with our 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and 2021 Audi e-tron. The Pacifica has a slower charger built-in and will charge at just under 30 amps max, so if the Pacifica is your only EV then you will save money buying a 32 amp Level 2 charger, because paying more for a 40 amp charger will not give you any faster charging speed. But if you think you will get another EV in the near future, then it's best to just get the 40 amp model now.As for the Mustart charger itself, construction of the box seems top notch, and the cable is very thick. This was the lowest cost 40 amp charger I could find that had a 25-ft total cord length (chargers under 20 ft wouldn't reach my second vehicle). Note this model is the bare bones charger and attached cables only; it includes no mounting hardware. Mustart sells mounting hardware separately (while other brands includes them) and the cost varies from $8-20. I just used brackets I already had to mount this to the wall.The LCD read-out is nice, however, Mustart should switch the positions of the maximum and actual current read outs. The actual numbers are what I am interested in and what fluctuates. The maximum is just that and will always stay the same. So it would be better to make the actual numbers in a larger font size so that they are easier to read. But hey, other low-cost chargers don't even have an LCD display, so the fact you get basic information with this one is a huge plus.I am very satisfied with the Mustart 40 amp level 2 charger, and would buy this again. I highly recommend it.

I bought the unit last year at the same time, and it's not charging anymore. I sent an email to support but haven't heard back.Don't waste your money.
