I ordered this squegee thinking it was made of hardened rubber, not foam rubber. It seems to work well but the attachment to the pole is not at all secure. Almost every time I use it, it comes off the handle. Am going to do as others have suggested and run a screw, or nut and bolt through the collar and into the pole.

Liked it but wished it came with pole all In one

Bought this to push excess water and soap into a floor drain in the brewery. The foam rubber does a great job even on rough surfaces (unfinished, rough concrete). Floors dry much more quickly than before. I bought the rubbermaid wooden pole to go with it and you really have to put a small screw or nail into it in order to get it to hold. No amount of screwing down will get it to stay without that screw/nail. I predrilled the hole to prevent splitting and put a small machine screw into it.

I absolutely LOVE this product!!! We have a problem with moisture building up on the concrete of our screened in patio on the north side of our house. It always happens just before (as well as during and after) a quick variation in temperature changes. The change leave moisture drops/puddles all over the concrete to be tracked into the house. I get tired of "wet vacuuming" and emptying all the time. So, I decided to try using a squeegee instead. On my first attempt I ended up with a worthless product from another store and almost gave up on this idea. BUT, I decided to give it one more try when I saw this product and I'm glad I did because it's wonderful!!! It's soft enough to get into some of the lower spots (bird baths), but firm enough to the push to water without leaving 80% of it behind and it's wide enough to reduce the amount of time needed to perform the task. Now all I have to do is squeegee the water towards the screens and walk it down to the door and out, then turn on the fans and we have a dry floor again. Absolutely the best squeegee on the market! The soft foam blade edge squeeges well on a concrete surface.However, the clamping mechanism for the Rubbermaid tapered broom handle needs work. It will stay attached when pushing forward but any occasional back drag to pull water away from a corner or edge and the head comes off the handle.

I buy these for the fast food store I work in and they worked so well the management actually started buying them! They get used quite a bit during a day in the restaurant i work in but have held up to 2-4 months of everyday use wear and tear before replacing! Considering if you don't need this for everyday or even every week use I'd estimate this lasting for 1-2 years potentially if you used it sparingly! The only caveat I have had with them is making sure the wooden stick or whatever you attach this too fits the squeegee, a many times the squeegee has fallen off the pole we attach it too. I'd recommend obviously getting the correct sized pole which should be noted somewhere in the details of product and if you don't have have the correct pole size well than maybe a longer screw of the same size to replace the short screw they give you to attach the squeegee! All in all a fantastic product though!
