Tourniquet Case: C-A-T® Rigid Tourniquet Case with Tek-Lok Belt Attachment

This is precisely what I was looking for in a holder for my tourniquet. I am a deputy sheriff and I have been looking for a carrying solution for my CAT tourniquet. I originally carried it in a cargo pocket, and then moved to a soft, nylon mag pouch that worked OK, but not great. I came across this and, although it is a much more expensive option, I decided to give it a try. Here are some of the features I like: - The medical cross on the outside. If a situation arose where I needed the tourniquet used on myself and I was unconscious, I feel like it at least offers a clue to someone who may be rendering aid. - The build quality is excellent. Very sturdy and I imagine it will be extremely durable. The slim design made for a comfortable fit on my belt and it is not in the way at all. - The friction retention works fantastic. I was a little skeptical, but it is in very secure and I have no worries about it coming out accidentally. That being said, with a firm tug, it comes out. The nice thing is that only gross motor skills are required to get the tourniquet. No buttons, snaps, or velcro. Anyone who has been in a legitimate adrenaline dump situation will recognize how useful it is to not have to rely on fine motor skills. - The attachment to my duty belt was perfect. The TekLok belt attachment clamped around my duty belt and locked into place. No need to remove items from the belt in order to slide the holder into place. The TekLok comes with a pair of spacers so that it can accommodate smaller width belts, but I removed both and it is a perfect, snug fit. The locking mechanism ensures it will not come undone. The lock is similar to that used on most Taser holsters. - Finally, the shipping. I selected regular ground and was given an estimated delivery date of approximately one week. The seller used USPS and my holder arrived in 48 hours. The only downside is that the tourniquet fits into the holder in a very specific way. There are no instructions, so I simply went to the manufacturers website and viewed their product picture. After that, it was a snap ([...]). Overall, if you are looking for a high quality CAT holder for your duty belt that leaves the tourniquet easily accessible and ready to deploy, then this is it. Yes, it's a little more money but it's pretty insignificant when it comes to trying to stop an arterial bleed in the field.

Good quality product. It fit perfect

The holder fits my generic tourniquet. It's tight to get it in the holder but it is secure and easy to get out of the holder. The holder itself is attached to a "Blade Tech tec-lok belt attachment" which is a great secure, quick attachment to a duty belt. Able to be adjusted for different size belts.

Solid. Wear it daily on my gear belt and it barely has a scratch. Very durable secures TQ very well. Well worth the buy.

Have used this for a year now and I like it. Idk if I chose the wrong attachment gear or what but I wish they had more choices for attachments. Molle or something. Belt clip was strong and held well even in a few tussles.

Great case to fit your CAT tourniquet. Packing it in can be a challenge if not familiar with how to fold the tourniquet properly.

This is the highest quality holder on the market. Tried three cheaper alternatives that couldn't get through a single shift without breaking. After over 6 months of use, this product has not shown any signs of wear. It can hold a TQ that is wrapped for quick application. TQ removal is quick and easy but is extremely secure.

El producto se de de calidad y bien armado, ya lo instale en mi botiquín de primeros auxilios que empezaré a llevar en mis rutas de moto, sin embargo me di cuenta que el paquete no incluyó el manual de instrucciones ya que para montar correctamente el torniquetes tuve que ver un video de YouTube y en él se apreciaba que el paquete venía con su propio manual alto que el mío no, fuera de eso, hasta ahora todo bien.

Decided to put my tourniquet on my belt instead of my vest. Out of all the pouches I tried, this one is by far the best. I wear a 2.25” duty belt and once locked in, it doesn’t move at all. It’s very adjustable, fits my tourniquet perfectly and very high quality. I have it placed on my right side so it’s accessible for both hands but mostly my dominant side. I landed directly on the case and there wasn’t a single mark on it. A little bit on the expensive side but definitely worth the money!
