These tools are well made with good tolerance on the tool ends. All machines need periodic maintenance and adjustment to return to factory specs. After adjustment, my weed eater now runs very well. My weed eater was running too rich and stumpled and stalled often. Leaning the mixture improved power and operablity. Without these tools I would likely have had to buy a new weed eater, since repairing it would have exceeded the value of the device. Thanks for providing a quality set of tools for a reasonable price.

Nice little set for adjusting small engine carbs. Has several different heads to accommodate different manufacturers. Great value for the price.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Seemed to be of decent quality, worth what it cost, I'd give it a five star, but I bought a new carburetor for a Stihl weed trimmer from the Stihl dealer, it's an OE part, I don't know why, but none of these tools work for that carburetor, don't know if Stihl changed the type of screws in them or what, but if these fit your equipment, then you will be okay.

I deal with small engines, and I mean, I rebuild them, fix them, tweak them for power and economy and have a very special affinity towards trimmers, for some odd reason. Well, trimmers all use different style carburetors that all seem to have different style screws for adjusting the fuel trims. I have looked at these kits for years now and just couldn’t justify buying one - until I got this Husqvarna 128 CD that I am working with to sell or whatever. I put a new carburetor on it and it was running really good, but tended to lean out when the throttle was pegged quickly. It working fine at higher RPMs if you were easy on the throttle as you were going up in speed. The new carb had these splined heads that no screwdriver I currently had would work. So, I finally had a reason to buy this set! And, it was well worth the wait! This set covers practically any style two stroke carburetor. I was also really excited to see it included a set of brushes and rods to help clean out carburetors. That is awesome because I normally use a welding torch tip cleaner set that I always seem to misplace somewhere in the dump I call a workshop! There are some designs in this set that I have never seen before, so I feel I am covered for whatever it thrown at me now! The spline one I needed fit perfectly and allowed me to fatten up the mixture on the high screw adjustment on my Husqvarna and now it is revving happy and without issue, like all my trimmers! The screwdrivers feel really good in the hand and are easy to hold onto. The materials also seem pretty robust for what you are going to use them for. Overall, the value of this kit is well worth it considering what all you can do with it! I am so happy I finally bought one of these sets now. I am also happy it was a Hipa brand kit as I have come to rely on Hipa products to get my trimmers and other small engine stuff running! Their products are well worth what you spend on them considering their use and value to your toolbox. Don’t be like me, waiting and waiting for a reason to get a set. You know you will use it if you do any sort of small engine repair, so just get the kit and save yourself the concern of finding the right screwdriver to make your adjustments. This kit will have exactly what you need!
