OTC 7023 Universal Tie Rod Adjusting Tool

Worked like a charm.After replacing my 92 S10 Bravada steering gear, the pitman arm was off by one tooth. No problem - I'll just reposition the pitman arm. Oops! no pitman arm puller! So... hmm... Oh! Align the thing! My rusted tie rod sleeves didn't allow me to twist. I ordered this, and was able to adjust the sleeves no problem. The sliding/reversible/90-degree head option took a sec to figure out, but it went like a breeze. Three turns and it was aligned enough for a test drive around the block. I even banged on it with a dead blow hammer, and the tool shows zero use. Fantastic.

Looks solid, works great. Wish I had one of these years ago. Half inch piece of pipe fits right over the slide bar and it makes turning tie rod sleeves a lot easier. It saves a lot of time and work for a Good price.

This tool is awesome. Works great for just about all tie rods. Haven’t come across one that it won’t work for. Love that it slides to adjust for the next turn.

Works very well. Does take a minute to get use to because it slides and spins. I do use this tool lot 4 or 5 times a week.

This is the end all when it comes to adjustment sleeves on steering components. The double hook design lets you have infinite movement options, even in tight spaces. Strong enough to use a 6 in extension and it won't bend or break. Actually spreads apart the adjustment sleeve to aid in breaking the sleeve loose.

Shipped on time and good quality tool. This is a replacement for one I have used for decades and lost. Perfect tool for rotating tie rod sleeves.

I used this to rotate the adjustment sleeve to my tie rod end attached to the pitman arm. Previously, I used a pipe wrench and end up scarring the adjustment sleeve. I purchased a new adjustment sleeve and tie rod and used this to rotate the adjustment sleeve.

OTC tool never go wrong. Good quality, Very useful tool for alignment. Can't complain.
