Versatile for Soups, Stews and Broths
This soybean paste comes as a little squeeze package with a screw on top, packaged inside a cardboard box (presumably for safer transit/more orderly display). The paste itself has great flavour (a bit more tangy than miso perhaps) and a thick texture, similar to Japanese miso paste. While the pack may look a little small, a little goes a long ways, similar to bullion or miso.My only real complaint is just the inefficent packaging; it gets a bit difficult to get all of the contents out toward the ennd, squeezing the package at odd angles trying to get everything out instead of easily rolling everything to the middle (ie. tube style). Perhaps I'm missing a secret techinique here, but I found it frustrating enough that I felt a 4 star rating would reflect that.I have made some delicious Korean stews using this paste, and highly recommend giving it a try. 5/5 flavour and quantity, it's just that packaging taking it down a star.

I'd order again!
I actually have tried this brand a while ago as my family member sent this to the US, and was so happy that now I can buy it from Amazon! I love that it’s non-GMO, MSG-free, and has no artificial flavor. Feels healthier than other brands, especially when I cook for kids. Not a fan of pouch design and I wish they make the traditional container ones too.

Bitter taste
The high price and product photo and description somehow gave me an impression this should be better than the typical average soybean pastes that I used to buy from Korean grocery store. I was willing to pay higher price for good ingredients and authentic product. Turned out not to be the case.. the salty bitter taste is so bad that I ended up throwing out without finishing it and am compelled to write this review Don’t be fooled thinking because it’s so much more expensive than others, it got to be good.

Taste just like authentic Korean doenjangkuk!
Make sure to put vegetables like zucchini, tofu, onion, garlic and green onions when you make soup. You can add beef or pork if you like. It's delicious Korean traditional doenjangkuk (Soybean soup).

Great taste
Was amazed at the flavor!!! I put a lil sesame oil in 2 tablespoons of this. I dip fresh garlic and jalapenos in it and use it in every bite!! I swear it's the highlight of my dinner! You should never eat Korean food with out this as a side.

Cette pâte de soja fermenté coréenne est excellente. Ne mangeant pas de produits laitiers avec elle j’ai un apport de ferments lactiques de bonne qualité ! Je la recommande.감사함니다
