Willow Tree Irish Charm, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure

I buy my daughter one ( or more) of these every yr. for xmas, have since she moved out 15 yrs ago- these are always a nice gift, pretty and delicate. I have also started buying them for my sons girl friend for xmas too! :)

This is a perfect gift for anyone of Irish heritage or a Willow Tree collector. Love the Claddagh-style heart design on the dress and also the heart on her tiara crown. Her arms are held straight down at her sides as is traditional in the Irish dancers. She looks as if she is ready to start moving her feet to dance to an Irish jig at any moment! Especially since the bottom ruffle of her dress is tilted up as if frozen in movement. Highly recommended figurine sculpture.

I used this for my sister-in law aunt passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack in Oct or November they were having a hard time with Christmas with out her favorite aunt not here. And now they got a dog they got to have to put down for 15 years old dog.

This was given as a gift to my mum for her birthday as she was born in St Patrick's day and she absolutely loved it. We both love the Willow Tree figurines and I will definitely be buying from them again for all the different figurines they have.
