Love, Love, Loved this series 💕
Great series. Good for young adults and the young at heart. I read all four books, one after the other and enjoyed them all. A little bit of intrigue, a smidge of suspense, some teenage angst ( not a lot ), and a whole lot of humor. But lets not forget the paranormal aspect, which was shown from the point of view of the average teenager with special abilities going through the same struggles all teenagers go through. I loved all the characters but I especially loved the close relationship between Tara and her Uncle Pat. I definitely recommend this series to everyone. 😃

A love story for all ages...
First, I must express my sincere hope that we will see at leadt one more book about Tara and Flynn once they have graduated college and are truly grown up in the world's eyes, at least. They are already so much wiser than most adults I know. No gratuitous sex and violence, no kids disregarding the rules because they have too much money and too little dense. Tara and Flynn have faced challenges in life that most could never imagine, and yet, they are good kids who try to do the right thing, even when others think they are a little bit "off."Like many of the authors characters, Tara and Flynn have become family. We love them and want them to be successful and happy. We laugh with them, cry with them, and our hearts ache for them when they are scared or hurting. I can't help but think of them as the book version of a young Sharon and Bobby, if things had worked out differently. The story is not all sunshine and roses--Sharon Sala's characters all have human flaws and human emotions. This last book grabbed me by the heartstrings and wouldn't let go. I am not ashamed to admit that I was so wrapped up in this story that I spent the last few chapters of the book in tears. This is a story that should be freely shared, and I would love to see it made into a motion picture (or several),with someone like Corbin Bernsen as Uncle Pat.Start this series at book one, and read them in order. I guarantee that you will be glad you did.

Fantastic read for young adults and old alike
My Lunatic Life is a series of 4 books dealing with the life of Tara Moon.Orphaned at a very young age she lives a nomadic life with her Uncle Pat traveling from town to town until finally , in her senior year in high school, landing in Stillwater,Oklahoma. It's not too easy always being the new kid in town. It's especially tough when you know things and your two best friends are ghosts. If you are not a fan of paranormal tales, don't let this stop you from reading this series.I put off reading because I prefer things more tangible.Ms Sala has made a believer out of me.The characters are sympathetic.I've learned a lesson here. I will read anything from the pen of the incomparable Sharon Sala.Bravo, Sharon, bravo.

A great conclusion that needed to be longer
This novella length book brings conclusion to the Lunatic Life series. While I love the series, I only loved half of this book. The beginning was a little too idyllic until the kidnapping, which meant there wasn't much conflict or contrast going on. It made it feel a bit bland. The plot in the first half also felt rushed. Too often emotions and motivations were explained in exposition instead of allowing the reader to discover them through action and dialogue. Consequently, it felt like it was being written for a younger demographic than the previous books. However, while the second half still suffered for its short length, the Tara Luna I've come to know and love really came through, with help from unexpected sources. Sharon Sala brings a broad understanding of energy and metaphysics into play in the climax. I also love the way Millicent and Henry's past lives are brought forward into their most recent life, giving Tara the best gift of all.

Awesome series ....
I really like Sharon Sala as an author - think she is just great and tells awesome stories - was very pleased when she came out with a series of 'young adults' - I have the complete set - in fact I have all the books she has written and will re-read them over.

TERRIFIC story and wrap up to the series!
No matter if you're a teen or adult Sharon Sala has come up with a series that you will love. Yes it was written for teens so the romance between Tara and her boyfriend Flynn is very "G" rated. As an adult you will find a funny, sweet and well written line of stories with crime and mystery running through them (again more low key for a younger crowd) but still very enjoyable. I bought the first one to try because it was Sharon Sala after all and before I was half way through I bought the other three. I finished them all in one day and don't regret the loss of sleep. Even though I'm more hard core in my mysteries and romances, they were just as good but in a different way.
