I have used this for a couple of years for jewelry lost wax casting wax preparation and it works nicely for detailing waxes and other low heat uses. Its barley hot enough for attaching wax models to a sprue base and the cords wear out within a year so be prepared to replace them but I like it and I use it every day. The tips provided are cheap but they work and can be bent into desired shapes. Its worth the money.

I have only been using my Anhua wax carving unit for a short time but so far, I am pleased with my purchase. It offers a wide range of temperatures for the waxes I use and a variety of pencil tips for carving. Time will tell as to how durable the unit and the heated tools are. For the price it was a very good choice. Delivery was quick too.

I’ve used this for about a week. It’s only made one improvement to my wax work for a wax that has a much lower melting point than my usual. Otherwise it doesn’t get hot enough to do much with it at all. Top heat only just melts how i need it to Pretty disappointed, I will probably keep using my MaxWax pen.

I had high hopes for this unit, but to be honest it doesn’t get hot enough to use when working with wax. I have ended up just continuing to use my cheap battery powered wax pen.
