Works perfectly!
These work perfect to keep your comforter in place, securely, when ties wear out or are not provided in a duvet. I have even accidentally washed and dried, but there was no issue with functionality afterwards.

Response to low quality poor value reviews
Based on a WireCutter review, I purchased a relatively inexpensive down comforter from COSTCO without loops for a duvet cover. (if you're a COSTCO member check out the $99 Hotel Grand Down Comforter-great deal)The review had a link to purchase these clips for those who wanted to secure the down comforter.I've had down comforters which are not secured and bunch up in the duvet cover and it's a pain.So I purchased these despite multiple 1 star negative reviews citing poor quality and low value for these $10 clips.I don't now why reviewers thought the foam padding on clips seemed like cheap foam backed adhesive that would peel off, to me it's ok and looks like some kind of heat sealed foam jacket. Others said a binder clip would do the same job-it won't they would just tear things. With respect to value, I agree the clips are not worth $10, but the question to ask is the function they perform securing your comforter in the duvet worth $10.For me they work, do the needed job, and even if the clips aren't worth it, the job they do is worth $10.

Keeps Comforter in Place for a Good Night's Sleep
The media could not be loaded. I love the simplicity of a comforter in a duvet, but I hate it when the comforter winds up in a clump at the bottom of the cover in the middle of the night. This set has 4 cloth covered clips to hold your comforter in place. You do not feel them once they are in place and they have very good grip strength. None of them have come off unintentionally in the three weeks I have been using them, but they are easy to disengage from your duvet when you wash it. I bought a second set and use all eight to really anchor my comforter in place.

Great and you barely notice them
I was skeptical about these at first, but they totally do the job. I was constantly dealing with my comforter bunching up (the most annoying thing ever) inside the duvet cover, and these clips have kept everything perfectly in place. They’re super easy to use, and once they’re on, you genuinely don’t feel them at all when sleeping unless you happen to bunch up the edges of your sheets just so, which I was worried about. The padding makes them gentle on the fabric, and I haven’t noticed any damage or wear. Plus, no shifting means I’m not fluffing and rearranging my duvet every morning like I used to. It’s one of those random little purchases that ends up being way more useful than you expected. Highly recommend if your bedding has a mind of its own.

These work!
We are new to using a down duvet. We quickly learned that we needed something to hold the duvet in place inside the cover. These clips work great! They are easy to use, are well-priced, durable, are small and lightweight enough that you don't notice them when in use, and are easy to put on and remove.

Works perfectly, as described ... but a binder clip might achieve the same effect
I have mixed feelings about these. Yes, they work well and are padded as described. For that, this product deserves at least 4 stars. Still, the metal and foam material used to make these clips feels kinda flimsy I am not sure that they will hold up over time. Each individual clip has two sides - one that attaches to the comforter and one that attaches to the duvet. However, I don't know that this "dual end" does the job better than a large binder clip. Furthermore, the padding is really glorified styrofoam tape. You could wrap some single sided foam tape on a binder clip and probably achieve a similar effect. The tape might not be perfectly molded to the clip but for me, the $3.25 a piece for these clips is not justified. After writing this review I saw another reviewer found these exact same clips on cuddletown.com for $6 per pack of 4 with free shipping. Another buyer commented on her review saying he was able to get two packs from Cuddletown.com for $9.60 - I guess he had a coupon.Amazon is the first place I look to buy most things. This time, the price is just not worth it.

Can't really feel these
Not sure how my husband sleeps but manages to instantly get all blankets in a lump inside the duvet cover. He has a favorite down blanket, so I wasn't too keen on pricking holes in the fabric to get everything to stay in place. These clips seemed like a more gently way. I was concerned that the clip would feel uncomfortable, but they are both covered with a soft material as well as attached to the blanket corners so they are no bother. I placed these inside the duvet so they aren't even visible. So far the clips have stayed put and have been easy to open when changing the sheets.

Works on the sides too!
I LOVE THIS. I paired these with the Magnetic Duvet Stays since I wanted to have options. I have the magnetic stays on the inside of the duvet cover at all the corners and these padded clips are on the sides. While these clips are marketed and shown to be used on the corners, I had zero issues using them on the sides. I'm working with a king-size duvet and THREE layers (the duvet insert, a waterproof cover, and the duvet cover), these clips had no issues at all holding all these layers together. I saw someone say the padding on these is Styrofoam and that's not true. It's just a soft padding to cover the metal clips.I'm finally able to sleep without having an entire duvet insert bunched up one side of the bed! Look at how evenly distributed the duvet is on my bed in this pic!! This pairing is a win!!
