UPDATE 9/2/24 Returning this item back for a refund. Worked fine for a week then just gets super hot after 8mins of charging. Top of that I found a better solution one for wireless charging. Cleaner look Was a two day late arriving other then that product was delivered nicely packaged no damages whatsoever. Installation was a breeze. Connected adapter to my rear cigarette plug (plug & play) instead of running it tru the front like how they instructed. Much cleaner and faster. Charges right up with a case on I’ve got iPhone 12max pro also charges my air pods. WILL UPDATE IF ANYTHING HAPPENS SO FAR ITS AWESOME!! Five stars 🌟

I got this in October, installed in late November thanks to work. It worked fit was great looked nice but it didn't do a fast charge but it indicated it was charging and the phone wouldn't really get much of a charge. Getting the phone in the right spot to charge was difficult and it would break the charge connection and the phone would get really hot. I figured it was my phone protective case so I mainly just used my USB cord for my phone because that's how the my maps work in the truck. So last week I had someone with me who tried using it while we were on a road trip. This was the 1st real usage of the charger. When she used the charging pad and her phone and the pad got so hot the phone shutdown and the pad was to hot to touch. Now when I put any phone on it it indicates that its charging on the phone for like 10seconds then its like the connection gets broken and then reconnected, and it continues over and over it doesn't really charge and the phone gets hot. So obviously it doesn't really work right. Unfortunately I am 8 months past the return period and feel I wasted my money as this was supposed to be the universal charger anyone riding with me could use and didn't have to plug into my truck.

I love this accessory from my truck charge my phone. Just drop it down easy to install.

If fits the 2018 gmc sierra perfect very easy install not hard to do but my 24s ultra doesn't connect well even with no case on and it has to be in a perfect spot to work amd it slides as your driving so it loses connection on and off my home wireless round charger does better then this and don't have to move my phone around to get ot to connect even with my case on just not worth it in my opinion.

I bought this item because the original equipment was too small to charge an iPhone 12 Pro Max. This product works with NO PHONE CASE ON. It will fit, but It’s hit or miss when the phone has a case on . I tried 2 different cases on my phone. Initially it will charge, and then start blinking continuously. If you are familiar with removing vehicle trim, this will be a 15 minute job. Came with a tool to remove the torx head screws if you don’t have one. It also comes with a trim removal tool, but I recommend getting something with a little more leverage for the center console bottom . The connectors are easy plug and play through the rear cigarette lighter. Charging rate is about 1% every five minutes. 4 stars because it works, but it is raised up about 1/4 inch, and the charge rate is a little slow. If you have a bigger phone that doesn’t fit on the original equipment, this is a good option. The light on the device may not be for everyone at night.

I was so excited for this product. I unfortunately got around to installing it outside of the return window, so I am stuck with it, but installation went perfectly until I actually had to connect it. The product fit in the tray of my console. The template provided proper placement for screw holes. Screws were proper size and held the tray in great. Where it failed is connecting to the cigarette lighter port. I am not a car person; I do not know proper names, but the plug that I unplugged from the back of the cigarette lighter port DOES NOT FIT in the coordinating plug on the wiring harness that was provided with the product. Interestingly, the part on the wiring harness meant to plug in to the back of the cigarette lighter fit perfectly. However, without being able to connect the product to power, it is now completely useless to me and I cannot even return it (that was my bad, I know). Majorly disappointed. I've tried contacting the company, but since their website gives phishing warnings, I don't have great hope there either.

I have a 2018 silverado. It already has wireless charging from the factory but is super slow and the tray wont fit my 13 pro max phone. Bought this to try and upgrade and make more room. Problem 1-Even though I have all the wiring for the charger, I was not able to plug directly in. Had to still wire it to the cig. lighter in the rear of console. Problem 2-I use a Defender case and even with the wider tray this has, my phone still wont fit in this charger. Problem 3-I bought a smaller Commuter case and then the phone fits but now it wont charge. It activates without a case so I assume it's a bad case. I proceed to buy 3 more cases to try and not a single one would activate the charger. I reached out to the MFR and they said "it's not made for thick cases." In fact, the only case I could get it to activate with is some cheap $5 plastic case which offers NO protection to the phone. Problem 4-Its supposed to be a 15W upgrade to the 5W factory charger, so I wanted to see how it worked even if none of my cases would work. So I put my phone on it with NO case at all and after an hour of driving I had charged from 15% to 17%. I expected more than 2% in an hour of charging. Company was kind about refunding/returning, but wish I had known this stuff before I wasted time and money trying to make it work.
