Great foam roller. I have used the same roller for over ten years so that's proof that it is durable. The shorter size model is portable as I've taken it with me on multiple trips. I just purchased a new one for my college aged son who uses it daily. It has a hollow core which is reinforced. It will not deform like the cheap knock offs or the foam rollers. I would highly recommend this roller to any one. You can use this for sore backs, legs, upper backs for soft tissue mobilization. I have recommended this to family and friends over the years. I wouldn't use any other brand.

Great little roller for legs and sides. I'm quite thin and can even do my back so it covers all areas on me quite well. The pad is hard but not without some give which is nice. Light weight and portable. Functions just as a roller should. Good value all around.

I really like this product and it has helped me with back relief. Im 5' 7'' and 180 lbs. This works good for me but I would like it if it was a little longer. I should have got the next size up for using with my back. Product still works great. Its easy to use, durable and will last a lifetime, perfect size round and stiffness to help roll on for the back. Easy to store and easy to use. It really does give you instant relief from back soreness.

This foam roller is hands down one of the best fitness investments I’ve made. The grid design is fantastic for deep tissue massage, helping to break up knots and tension after a tough workout. I use it mainly on my legs and back, and it provides instant relief, especially after leg day. Unlike cheaper foam rollers, this one maintains its shape and firmness even after repeated use. The size is also perfect—not too bulky, so I can easily store it or take it with me when traveling. If you work out regularly or deal with muscle stiffness, I highly recommend getting one of these. I run recreationally, but like many, I enjoy pushing myself hard and find myself with considerable muscle soreness after really long runs.Rolling out my legs before, and giving special attention to sore muscles after my workouts, changes everything. Before rolling, my calves would be so sore and tired immediately after running that I could barely walk straight; with this foam roller, I feel more recovered 20 minutes after a workout than I used to 2 hours after. It's not merely superficial pain relief either, I can go from walking with a compensating limp from soreness to walking with vigor after a few minutes with this.More than that, I've been able to work out considerably more often, and I feel more confident than ever that I'm working out injury free thanks to rolling my ITB and other problem areas before running. In the month after ordering and using this roller, I dropped nearly a minute from my 10k pace - about 5 minutes from my total time.Be aware that this is not a massage roller. Although I've said it helps with pain relief, rolling with this may hurt a bit itself at first. To call this "firm" is maybe unfair, because its core is completely rigid, covered with a foam layer just thick enough to give it texture and grip so it can be used effectively. The first dozen or so times you use it, you may need to ease your weight onto it and take it easy. However, I found that after a week or so it not only didn't hurt, it felt outright good - I would go so far as to say comfortable thanks to the excellent foam layer. Having used this, I can't imagine hoping for comparable results out of a compressible, all-foam roller.As for the rest, this roller is simply well designed. It's lightweight, very durable and water resistant (including sweat), the foam layer doesn't look stressed out or cracked from use, even though I live in an extremely, disturbingly dry climate. Nothing is peeling, nothing is deformed, nothing shows even the slightest sign of wear. It's as good as the day I bought it, and I wouldn't hesitate to pack it in my gym bag or trunk without fear of crushing the shape. Top notch, look forward to years of happy use.

I use this foam roller in the gym, almost every day. It helps relieve pain, soreness, inflammation, and improves flexibility. I'm very happy with my purchase. I've also used the longer one, but this is perfect for home use. One of the best I've used.
