Is this needed or does the robot come with a box to hold everything? I have a 5 & 7 year old, wondering if I can skip the case?

When I bought my ozobot a couple years ago, it came in an acrylic box. I had to use a big rubber band to keep the top and bottom of the box together. The markers didn't fit in the box. So I bought this carrying case.

Is the insert that hold the markers removable?

Unfortunately, no. It cannot be removed.

Will the ozobit bit fit in the ltgem carrying case?

Yes it fits perfectly! There's a place for everything that comes with it in its box. Con: There's no strap attached to the carrying case.
