As an antiseptic this works very well for me, for wounds and to prevent infections.

I have always remembered the MercuroChrome my mother would use when I got scratches or cuts. And was so pleased when I was able to find it on Amazon, at a reasonable price. It works, and that's all that matters.

Old fashion medicine that still works.

My 42 year old daughter found a picture of mercurochrome in a vintage magazine. She's in the north and I'm in Florida, and she said remember this? Of course she would. It got brushed on every boo-boo until I wasn't needed for boo-boo's anymore. I spend way too much time ( and money) on Amazon and said to my BFF I wonder if you can still get it. Then did a search, and yep! Amazon has it. Obviously, I haven't used it in years, but placed an order that day. They sell in packages of 3 so I sent two to my daughter. One for an upstairs bath and one for downstairs. She can figure out the other 2. And, at 70, my skin has gotten very thin so I had a bad scrape. I put mercurochrome on it and it was healed within 3 days! That's amazing!! The older generation knows it's stuff!
