I liked the type of Chocolate used in these chocolate covered cherries much better than most.

I’ve tried every chocolate covered cherries brands available on Amazon, and these are the best by a long shot. All the others use poor quality chocolate and the cherry pieces are about the size of a grain of rice. I suspect they add cherry flavoring to make up for the teeny weeny bits of cherry. Cherry Republic uses very good quality chocolate over pieces of cherries that are about four or five times larger than the other brands.I just received a case of these which were not good. The cherry bits had a crystallized texture and the chocolate tasted funny. I wrote to Cherry Republic about this and they responded the same day and offered a refund or a replacement. So if you ordered these on my recommendation, and think they taste funny, please check the batch number to see if it ends in 10122.

I gave this as a gift and it was sent directly, so did not rate the packaging. It was one of several gifts sent to my mother in isolation in a nursing home and one of the few that she mentioned she really liked. She said it was great quality and a wonderful taste. Will be ordering it again for her in the future.

Great taste. The same as the ones I bought from the Michigan store. The delivery was fast and the product was well packaged.

The inimitable combination of chocolate and cherries won’t allow customers to forget to order as gifts on special occasions.

We love Cherry Republic products, and I was excited to be able to buy a small amount without the $9.95 flat rate shipping straight from CR. These were fine, but they did not taste as good (Was it freshness, warehouse storage, handling, shipping time...hard to say exactly.) as the ones I buy direct from Cherry Republic. And I can’t dismiss it as being all in my head, because my husband mentioned the same opinion and he had no clue I hadn’t ordered them from CR like I usually do. I would try ordering again to see if it was a fluke, they weren’t terrible...just not as fabulous.
