By golly- (who says that?) I’m not kidding!
I have ordered these so many times! I’m not kidding- I’ve ordered at least 4 or 5 of these multi packs- I can’t keep them in my home or our Hawaii home because grandkids, kids, guests, friends, who-ever keep “accidentally” putting them in their suitcases, cars, pockets, backpacks, where ever…OR- I say “they are sooo awesome, just keep it”!AND- THEY ARE THAT AWESOME! THEY ACTUALLY R E A L L Y WORK!!!Mosquitoes, spider bites, flea, what ever…takes the sting/itch right away. **sometimes I need to do it a couple times- if the bite has been there for a few hours or a day and you’ve scratched it- but, by golly- give it a suck, hold it there for 10+ seconds a couple times- and voila!I actually have a little panic myself when I get a bug bite (they love me) and I cross my fingers that I can find one when i need it! (I usually can and keep one stashed away)….

Life Changing
I purchased this device on the slight hope that it would provide at least a small amount of relief. I used the device on a couple of mosquito bites that were almost 2 days old. To my surprise, it managed to pull some liquid from the bites and the relief was immediate. Mind you, these bites produced redness and swelling and the bites immediately began to lose the redness and swelling upon using this device. Another bonus, I have heard from other surfers that this device works on sting ray stings and if you have ever been stung by a sting ray, you'll know how valuable this is (you still need to use hot water on the sting, though). I highly recommend this device!

Surprisingly effective for mosquito bites — great for the whole family
I was skeptical about the Bug Bite Thing at first, but after using it several times on fresh mosquito bites, I have to admit — it actually works. It’s a simple suction tool that pulls out irritants like saliva or venom left behind by bugs, and it really does reduce swelling and itchiness if you use it right after getting bitten. The tool is compact, easy to clean, and safe for kids and adults. It’s painless, though the suction feels a little weird at first. I’ve used it on mosquito bites and minor bee stings with noticeable relief within minutes — especially on those bites that normally swell up and itch like crazy for days.A few tips:Use it ASAP after the bite for best results.Don’t over-suction — it can leave a small red mark if you hold it too long.Doesn’t work as well on older bites or tick bites.Pros:Drug-free, chemical-free reliefWorks quickly when used immediatelySafe for all agesReusable and travel-friendlyCons:Requires some trial and error to use properlyNot effective on all types of bites (e.g., spider or old bites)Can leave temporary redness if overusedOverall, this is a great tool to have on hand, especially if you’re outdoors a lot or have kids who attract every mosquito in a 10-mile radius. It’s not a miracle cure, but it really helps take the edge off bites without the need for creams or meds.👍 If this review helped, feel free to click “Helpful” — I always appreciate it!

Handy device to save pain and suffering
Even though it seems expensive for (what seems like) just a plastic tube - this little Thing is worth it. I have very sensitive skin - so when a bug bites, I can get up to a half-dollar sized mark if I don't deal with it. If I apply the Bug Bite Thing (BBT): bites heal faster and I have less scarring from bites and minor stings. The BBT is lightweight and easy to clean - you can fully disassemble to sterilize.A friend has had one for 5+ years and it's still working great. I wanted one of my own, since it was so effective! The 2-pack is great to have one at home and one in the car for incidents while traveling.

Doesn't completely eliminate the itch, but it does help.
Mosquitoes hunt me down. It doesn't matter what I do, how many layers I wear, whatever anti-mosquito chemicals I have slathered on my body. They find me, and they feast upon me. It's not fun. I have evidence of the bites for weeks--huge red bumps that I wind up scratching in my sleep. My lymph nodes swell up. It's awful.I tried this gadget, and there's some benefit to it.I noticed a mosquito on my arm a couple of days ago, and I swatted it to its end.I waited until I saw a bump forming so that I could center the tool over it.It gave me a mosquito device hickey. So that's a drawback unless you're into body art with large dots. You could try to replicate a Roy Lichenstein work on your body. . .I noticed that it wasn't itching for the rest of that day, though when I woke up the next day, the itch had returned. It wasn't as bad as had I done nothing. I think the itch is subsiding which is a substantial "pro" for me.So, it sort of works. It's not perfect, but it's better than doing nothing and suffering the full effects of those nasty mosquitoes.
