Guess the time with this clever Powers of 2 Binary LED Light Clock that displays time in binary -- the ones and zeros of computer language. You’ll enjoy watching the constantly changing patterns of the lighted blue display on Binary Clock as time passes. Just calculate the values of the lit LEDs in each column on the Binary Clock to derive the time. For example the time shown is 10:48:36. Runs in 12 or 24 hour mode. Binary Clock approx. 3 1/2" square. Comes with a 120V AC power adapter and instructions. Silver-tone. A wonderful gift for any techie or code whiz!

Neat stuff!
I got this as a gift for my little sister. It's very basic and does what it needs to do: tell time. I like that. The lights are very bright though, blindingly so, particularly at night, and if there were anything I'd change about it, it would be to add a dimming function. My sister has to turn it around when she needs to go to sleep. Otherwise, great product, and I want another one for myself!

ok but doesn't worth the price
IT is OK but the quality and setup is nothing fancy and thus worths about $10-15 at most. It works fine and is fun to use.

Informatics time
There is an informatics joke that says "There are 10 kinds of people: the ones who know binary and the ones who don't" jajaja I'm neither a geek nor a nerd, but I love computers and this is the kind of clock I have always wanted for myself. It says the hour in a binary form. It even has 100 different modes to see the hour :-D* horizontal binary* vertical binary* horizontal binary coded decimal* vertical binary coded decimal. As you may see, there are 100 different modes. JAJAJA. Just kidding. It's funny to discover what people thinks about what it is. Some say it's a sensor; others say it's a part of the computer. To the guy that says that lights are very bright: i bought mine about two years ago and there is a discrete buttom at the bottom of the back side of the clock. If you press it, you can get 11 different bright modes. JAJAJA Again kidding. For the guys who don't know binary, 100 stands for 4 and 11 for 3.Sorry for the bad jokes, but that's how we informatics have fun.

Excellent conversation device for people who do know computer machine language. To repeat an earlier reviewer: "There are 10 types of people in this world, those that understand binary and those that don't".
