Truly Durable!
I’ve been searching for years for a toy that floats and I can safely leave with my Pitty to chew on for more than 5 minutes without finding a million pieces everywhere - THIS IS THE ONE I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! Been several months and it barely has a few bb sized chunks missing and floats perfectly! I got the large size for 60-120lb dogs, my only complaint is the Dark Black color. They sell the smaller sizes in bright easy to see colors but not the large for some reason. It’s fine in clear/blue pool water, but in darker water like a river, lake or the ocean my pup definitely has a hard time seeing it sometimes. Great product overall very satisfied and I cannot stress enough how happy I am to not have to keep buying toys over and over!

Genuinely super tough toys
Incredibly tough. Our pitbull loves this one and she spends an incredible amount of time with it, but hasn't managed to rip any chunks off yet.

Best Toy for Super Chewers
I have a 3 yr old put bull grandpuppy that loves to chew. I've researched and bought her different toys, looking for one that would last more than a couple days. This is the toy!! I found this one on a list of toys for super chewers last year and bought the orange polka dot one. She loved it. She has chewed on that toy since Christmas 2024. It is just now starting to break down and needs to be replaced. She's getting the green polka dot one this year for Christmas. Her little sister is getting the yellow one.

Good quality dog toy
Mine had no print on it so it looks a little bad. It’s lasted for 2 months and counting. It’s heavy and definitely durable, I purchased the one for pitbulls up to 80lbs she is around 50lbs but could chew through a car so I would honestly say it’s worth the money- but maybe size up if you have a super chewer so they cannot complete their bite as the product instructs.

Durable!
If your dog is chewing through everything then this is the toy for you. (There is also a black one which is a bit stronger, but I found this one was more than strong enough for my dog.) This toy holds up to heavy duty chewing. I have a Mountain Cur that wants to tear apart toys- soft toys last for maybe a half hour if we are lucky (amazingly she never has tried to tear apart a Kong- she seems to know if she destroys it then it won't be a game to get the treats out anymore) so we were looking for something for her to play with/chew on as she seems to want to just sit down and chew on something sometimes. This toy works perfectly. I liked this shape better than the ring or ball option as it looked more like a stick and would be easier for her to hold and chew. After about 3 months there is NO DAMAGE at all to the toy. NONE. Not even one tooth mark. I am stunned. And my dog loved it right from the first time she say it (in fact she was jumping up trying to help me open the envelope it came in she was so excited to get to it). There are only a couple things that are a teeny bit annoying about this toy. The first is that is smells- sort of like fake bacon- or some of those stinky dog treats. And if you touch it- your hand will smell like that. After three months the smell does seem to be a bit less, but is still def. there and noticeable if you are touching or next to the toy. The second thing that is a little annoying is how hard and heavy this toy is. So if your dog likes to pick up toys and throw them around be careful you are not in the path (or anything breakable) as it will hurt if it hits you. Overall though I would highly recommend this toy- and I think so would my dog!

Not indestructible
Not indestructible. My Staffie chewed off part of one end within a day. It is heavy and unbendable. Probably fine for dogs that are not an extreme chewers.

Update: Lasted 5 days - a new record
Update: I just got reminded of this review and thought it would be a good time for an update. We did get a replacement from the company (through their mail-in replacement program) and the new one lasted far longer than the original - on the order of about 5 months of daily vigorous (supervised) play. He never lost interest in the toys and would go completely ballistic any time we even made it look like we might be getting down the Goughnuts. I'm a huge fan and will definitely be a life-long customer. We also ordered another stick from Amazon and correctly received a stick. Not sure what happened that first time. The dog loved both shapes and it was good fun watching him decide which to play with. Given the improved experience with the replacement product, I'm adding one star to my original rating. Original Review: Our dog is a champion chewer to the extreme. No toy survives his jaws for more than a few hours at best. Tennis ball? Demolished in seconds. Pet store toy rated "toughest"? Five minutes, on a slow day. Plastic? Rubber? Kevlar? No match. So when I say this toy lasted five whole days before he tore off a chunk and revealed the red safety core, that really is a testament to the durability of this toy. Are we disappointed it didn't last longer? Yes - we thought we were going too far starting him on the strongest toy, and even thought there was a chance it could last. Instead we will be giving the lifetime guarantee a try a bit early. You pay postage there and back, so in the end a replacement is about 50% of the cost of a new one on Amazon. In spite of the cost and short time to failure, we still think this toy is a winner. From the moment the package came in the door, our dog was all over the Goughnuts. I've never seen him this excited about a toy. It was as if he were overjoyed to finally have a toy made for a dog like him. It bounced and rolled through the yard in interesting, if destructive, ways. It's a heavy toy, so be careful where you throw it. Our dog's favorite way to tell us it was time to play was to bring the Goughnuts over and drop it on our feet. Did I mention it's heavy? If your dog is like ours and can demolish any toy in moments, you may want to keep looking or go with something less expensive. On the other hand, the Goughnuts could last for months or more with a dog less passionate about destruction. We will be giving it another try in hopes it will last a little longer this time. One final note: somewhat inexplicably, we were shipped a ring instead of a stick. The label said stick, but stick it was not. They were the same price and the dog had already run off with it. Such is life.

Great chew toy for dogs 96 pounds and above
Great chew toy for large dogs that chew through everything. The stick is round and bouncy. Great value.
