Halogen heater
Alright in every respect except when you change a bulb. Fiddly wire had broken inside. In the end we threw the whole thing away. I have a new one ok. I have a 3 rd one where 2 bulbs have gone . That is in the bedroom on one bar.

VERY Fragile! Easily broken
They are as described. However be aware that they are very fragile ! I bought a pack of 3 and found one was broken at the end so did not work. I didn’t return the set as I had already fitted the other 2 and it is very fiddly to remove/fit them so didn’t want to go through that again.

Fitted These To my fire one failed within a couple of days !!!

Spare bars
Fire comes with 3 spare bars, so now have 6. Good fire manufacturers recognises halogen bars don't last.

Easy to fit great value for the money

Bellaco Heating element. Not so easy
Terrific delivery from Amazon, however the video demonstration is obviously using a new product not one that has been exposed to heat. Video shows simply pulling the tube out, not the case when the terminals are seized at both ends. There is also a flexible circular piece of metal which forms part of the opening which needs to be flattened to extricate and also repositioned after insertion. Element life very disappointing.
