Sturdy drain covers

Sturdier than it looks in the pictures. Does't really deflect when I stand on it (165 lbs). Wouldn't drive over it with a car but should hold up to a typical riding mower I would think. Atrium design keeps mulch from clogging the drain flow which is what happened with the flat NDS cover I had. I put this on my 9" NDS basis, fits like a glove.

I've got a low spot in the front of my house on the edge of my driveway and I had a catch basin installed and line run out to my front culvert to divert all the water away. It was a simple 9x9" catch basin with a flat grate. The only issue I had was that the grate would get completely clogged in heavy rain with small bits of leaves and debris. Enter this replacement grate. Works much more consistently. I went and checked on it after the last big rain and the corners (that are flat) were clogged but the actual dome portion stayed clear. Definitely a win! I feel like it was a touch expensive, but short of replacing the entire catch basin (and even then, I still would've wanted to go with a dome grate) it was the best option.

Needed something not to clog / stop up

Purchased 9" black. Very sturdy. Adult can stand on it, but wouldn't drive a car over it. Exact fit for my NDS drain box that came with with a flat grate. Very happy.

There are Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE) versions of this product, they look the same. This one is the PP one, and is the tougher one of the two. However, it still doesn't stand a chance against rodent. They both don't. I don't know if I have rat or mouse, I assume rat, but they broke it on day 1. However, I didn't find a metal alternative on Amazon, so this one is probably the best I can get.

I have a floor drain in my outside stairwell that gets plugged easily with detritus. I simply placed this over the drain, and it works perfectly to prevent flooding. Water will build up around the stormdrain, but not above the solid walls of the storm drain, and that's well below the level of my door. The water then enters thru the upper slats and down my floor drain.

Replaced a flat drain cover with this dome. The dome seems to help keep debris from blocking the slots. It's been tested repeatedly and just keeps on draining....
