Q: Is there any black paper over the eyes or something that makes it seem like looking through sunglasses?

Not Paper but the lens is shaded like sunglasses but I had no problems seeing indoors, if your worried about your eyes being visible they won’t be.

yes, you can breathe. The mask is made of plastic and isn't sealed in any way. It's no different than your typical cheap Halloween mask

the eyes are shaded and appear black when the mask is worn

An elastic band wraps around your head, and because the mask it lightweight it easily holds it on your face.
