All wood and plywood construction with wood veneer on the top. It’s quality components and build but the veneer on top is prone to some damage during shipping and storage. Ours arrived with some minor damage (minor chipping to the edge of the veneer on one of units) and it remains to be seen if that will get worse with use - it is very minor. Otherwise, i can tell the rest is quality material and build and it played well. I think I’ll need to put a little clear varnish over the chipped areas to prevent it from getting worse but, If we’ll taken care of, I think it will last for many years to come.

I received my order and was thrilled to have it. However, after opening the box, 6 of the 8 corners of the two boards were cracked and two of the corners on one of the boards had chunks missing. We went ahead and sat this game up and used it. It is still fun to play.

Nice set, but a corner was damaged during shipping and I cannot get in contact with seller.

As soon as I got them out of the box, I treated the bare wood with a waterproof stain. Not a complaint just my preference you may want to consider. Good set. Sturdy, handles are nice. The bags are of quality. I am happy with this purchase.

The wood design is gorgeous. The bags that come with it are terrible. I had to buy separate ones.
