I don't prefer plastic lids however this is good for starters
The lids fit most standard jars and I really love the fact you can mark the dates but the plastic has a cheap feel to them. Good for a starter kit.

Works great
Got this brand for gifts for my brother and a friend. Both have had successful ferments, and neither has had a problem with these lids yet. I bought myself a different brand and had problems. Save yourself the heartache of a ruined batch and buy these.Both my brother and friend wish they had weights for each lid. Why they only give you two weights with 4 lids, I don't know.

Perfect starter kit
The fermentation kit was very easy to use and came in handy so much. It come a with all the tools need it to ferment. I favorite is having the glass weights so helpful. If your new to fermentation I would definitely buy this kit.
