Lg EBR78263901 Washer Electronic Control Board Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Part

Great product. Lg put a 1/2” of glue on the top of this board that pretty much makes it impossible to replace parts (caps, resistors , etc). Still … $200 vs. new washer. Albeit, this washer is already 8yo. Seems wasteful to just replace it

It was an exact match for my washer. As soon as I hooked all the wiring and put the top back on the machine, plugged it in, it worked perfectly. Would definitely recommend it

For a year my LG front load washer had developed an intermittent problem of not powering on when I pressed the power button. The temporary fix was to unplug the washer and then plug it back in again. I would run a load of laundry, no problems. But to turn it on again with the front power button, it just wouldn't work. And plugging in the unit in again to the wall would always produce a small spark at the outlet.After some quick internetting, I found that this is a common issue with these washers (shakes fist angrily at LG), and that the solution is replacement of the control board. Sounded scary to do. But no! Seriously, if you've ever built a set of LEGOs, you can quickly- and easily!- replace the board. Go check out youtube for videos on this. It's ridiculously simple. I would be really surprised if someone could NOT install this board correctly. I am a petite woman (weighing less than 110 lbs) and I was able to perform the entire board removal, replacement, and putting everything back together again within 30 minutes all by myself.I know the part is pricey, but it's a lot cheaper than buying a new washer. And it fixed the problem! No more power issues, and no more sparking of the plug when I plug the washer in. Replacing the board myself saved me time and lots of money dealing with a "service technician".

I was so happy that I was able to fix my washer. All indications were that it was this part that had gone bad. I knew that it would cost me almost as much as a new washer to have a repairman come fix this. I found a video online that walked me through all the steps to get the old one out and this replacement in. There are LOTS of wires and connections I think 9 or more. It was such a great feeling to have the unit fire up and the little digs it plays once I had everything put back together.

I bought this product trying to save some money on buying a brand new part for my washing machine. I put it in and had to assume it was good and troubleshooted the other parts. Therefore I replace the front panel, I replace the door switch, and then finally I decided to get a brand new main board. The brand new main board worked meaning that I spend almost as much money buying this used piece of garbage as I would have if I brought a brand new washing machine. It is not fair to treat consumers like this. I be weary of buying any used parts again and I would never buy anything from this seller.

Thank you Amazon & PTX Appliance! Between Christmas and New Years Eve our LG Washer Stopped... would't turn on. We watch the DIY on youtube and determined the Control Board had to be replaced. We found the part on Amazon from PTX Appliance and after 1 minor 1 day shipping error we had the part the next morning at our door when we woke up! My wife and I watch the install directions on youtube and had the part installed in a few hours . . . and it worked! Thank you!
