While some of us in my household take care of our laptops, storing it reverently on a stand on a side table, others are less caring and the state of my wife's laptop screen, keyboard and case had been bugging me for quite a while. So when I ordered something else recently I took the opportunity to order these wipes as well as an "add-on" (quite why they are an add-on I have no idea. I assumed to save delivery costs on low cost items, but the wipes arrived separately so that makes no sense). Anyway - the product itself is a terrific bargain. 100 damp, but quite strong, paper-based wipes on a roll in a dispenser from which you pull them one at a time. The wipes are pre-soaked in some chemicals with unfeasibly long names, but basically they evaporate quickly. Apparently there is an allergy risk, which is stated on the container, but not on the Amazon product page entry, which is a pity, so I mention it here just in case you suffer from sensitive skin. To be honest its probably just the company covering itself as I do have a colleague at work who does have sensitive skin but does similar wipes without a problem (or glove). Anyway - worth a mention. The wipes work very well. They do dry quickly - because the chemical evaporates quickly - so you probably have about a minute's use from each wipe, but that is more than enough for a quick routine clean of a laptop (and big TV will probably need a couple). And because it dries so quickly there are no smears left behind on screens. In my wife's laptop's case it took about four wipes to get it back to near an acceptable condition, but it was an extreme example, and it is now all pretty and sweet-smelling again. On the subject of which there wipes do have a smell that I would describe as unusual, rather than unpleasant. However, this does not hang around long and you hands do not retain any smell. The container is resealable to an extent but is far from airtight and I think it is inevitable that the wipes will dry out over time. There is no indication how long they will stay damp once the container has been opened - my guess is a few weeks, but I'll update this later. Even so - £1.50 for 100 wipes is pretty impressive value.

I was skeptical of using these on my monitor as, well... my monitor is NOT cheap. When I opened up the tub to "pull" a tissue out, it ripped instantly. I tried another tissue, again, ripped almost instantly. I had to be REAL gentle to get a tissue out. Once I finally got a tissue out, it felt... not damp, not overly moist - Just right, if you get me. I wiped my monitor from right to left to begin with and it was really good at cleaning all the little spit marks, water marks and such off my monitor. It was really easy to use and personally, this has been the most effective tissue I have used to date to clean my monitors.

Great wipes, and moisture last for quite some time after initially being opened. Ordered second time which says it all.

Grabbed these quick as they were discounted at the time. Arrived the following day and were opened and tried immediately due to my laptop having a somewhat dirty and mucky screen. Screen was cleaned with ease but it was left slightly smeary afterwards but that was soon remedied by rubbing it with a lint free cloth. Very effective and just what was needed.

It had been sometime since I had last given my computer and keyboard a freshen up and when I opened the plastic tub containing wipes that I had ordered at least a year ago I found that they had all become dry and unusable. When these newly ordered wipes arrive from Amazon they arrived both moist with a pleasant fragrance . Had to use about ten wipes to get the job done. When cleaning in-between the keys it became necessary to fold the wipes into a long thin edge and run the wipe along and down the lines of keys. Took a while but it was worth the time and effort. Be careful when closing the lid on the wipes container, make sure that the tail of the next wipe to be used is not protruding out beyond the moisture lock on the lid of the container. After making sure that it was sealed correctly I then placed the wipes container into a zip lock plastic bag giving it a double air-lock and much better chance of staying fresh.

These are flimsy and easy to rip. They are also quite dry; I had to use three of them just to clean one monitor, and it’s still not clean. The image I’ve uploaded shows the result after using three wipes
