Always excellent quality and low price

Purchased these to hang some new oak doors I purchased. They were delivered on time, however Evri driver left them on the doorstep and pressed the bell and left, 8 hours later someone visiting our house pointed them out to me. We live on a busy rd so very surprised they were still there! The chisels seem very good quality and are sharp straight from the very nice and handy storage box, as a confident DIYer I can say that so far they have handled the job very well. I’ve done 4 or the doors and the chisels that I’ve used are still sharp, with no bouncing, the handles appear well made. Overall I’m very impressed, just a shame about the delivery issue otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Seem well made ,haven't used yet and although the chisels are sharp , they all have a burred edge which will need removing before use - so far very happy

Really happy with the product quality and functionality of use 👌 these chisels are ready to go straight out of the case very sharp upon opening, the size of these are great and really fits the deal with all my wood carving and home projects, very good comfortable handles however safety gloves are still useful also, no disappointment whatsoever with the ease of glide of the chisels or the durability reassurance that is a bonus win win, for the price you can't go wrong with these whether you are a beginner or a professional, at home or on the go, be ready with this product along with the included honing guide and wet stone and sturdy case for your comfort convenience and safety. Excellent quality, good value for money

Excellent Product, bought it for my son as a Christmas Gift:: Although he's not used it yet he's very pleased with the presentation off the Gift and the Case it came in: Also, exceptional delivery by Amazon, was delivered a day earlier than stated.

As an ex carpenter / boat builder, I am impressed with this set. They are actually sufficient for all general softwood building tasks though, not being double-drop forged steel, they may need frequent sharpening when using hardwoods. Even so, they still hold a very decent edge when sharpened correctly. They are housed in a strong impact-resistant protective case with a sharpening stone and sharpening guide for the less experienced to achieve the right angle. All of the chisels are correctly hollow ground (essential for fine shavings to 'roll' and not fracture causing break lines). Only a very small leading edge needs stoning before deburring. I have read in reviews that the chisel edges are jagged. However, this is the natural outcome of the grinding and never intended as any usable finished edge. That must be done by the owner using the stone provided. Please note that proper sharpening as well as use of chisels is a skill acquired after much practice. So, are these chisels worth buying? Most definitely, yes. Though not the finest (expensive) quality steel, any carpenter could earn a living with this set. Frankly, for general building carpentry, they are more than adequate, and amasing value for money.

Calidad precio bueno, para un uso no profesional más que suficiente, buen corte y afilado según se hace el peimer uso. No creo que encuentres en esta gama de precios algo mejor,similar puede pero mejor lo dudo.

Finally I find it easy to say nice things about a set of chisels without pawning my first-born grandchild to pay for them. And as I reflect I should have bought the 10 pc. set. The handles are just right for my big hands, and since I now have peripheral neuropathy in my hands the smooth edges mean everything. The honing guide is superb, better than any I have tried before. I sharpened my old chisels and they are super sharp now! I sharpened these VonHaus chisels, but the jury is still out on how long they will hold an edge. They seem soft enough to put an edge on them, I hope they work out to my standards. Nice carry case and the chisels lock in nicely. I have not used your stones yet, but they look okay. Overall I love them and would recommend them to anyone looking for good chisels without spending a pile of doe-ray-me!

Belle qualité. Prévoir quand même 2 bonnes heures pour l’affûtage général. Petite astuce pour le guide d’affûtage: sur Amazon vous trouverez un inclinomètre pour 14,99€ (en Prime) l'embase magnétique appliquée sur la lame du ciseau vous permet de trouver facilement les 25° d'inclinaison pour un affûtage facile (entr'autre usage). Une fois affûtés les ciseaux sont parfaits et durables. Les manches supportent le maillet sans problème. Bref: très content.

Preis/Leistung stimmt hier absolut. Benutzte sonst Eisen von Kirschen. Kann man natürlich nicht vergleichen. Trotzdem bekommt man hier kein Baumarktmüll. Stein und Schleif Hilfe ist dabei. Alles im koffer. Für Einsteiger oder jemand der nen Satz für unterwegs Brauch, n super sache
