I wasn't sure whether to get these or 10M LED colored light string from TLC. In the end I got both and pleased with the mix effect. These lights are brighter than the 2W coloured LED bulbs and lit the garden perfectly for our late evening event.It's important to hang these lights from a rope as a catenary - then cable ties from each light to the rope above - just take some care putting them up. The only downside is the inadequate cable length from plug to first bulb, should be at least 3M IMO - but got a waterproof in-line junction box. and added 5 Metres of flex.These lights stayed up for a month and took normal rain, but took them down in gale force winds just in case !The lamps seal well into the holders and the holders look good quality.Got 3 spare lamps in the kit, haven't needed one yet but good to have in hand.I've tried other cheaper outdoor lights before and chucked them out within a year. These I think will last and I'll buy another set next year.

These lights surpassed what I was expecting. I like big beer garden lights but these look far nicer than anything I have seen. The bulbs seem to be a normal screw bulb in a waterproof housing however I would suggest taking it down in extreme weather as per instructions. Putting up was very easy, just put a nail in the location and above the bulb is a hole you just hook over. I think I could take them down in less than 2 minutes if needed.The light is so bright! It makes such a difference when compared to fairy lights and a friend of mine wants to borrow them for a wedding. Furthermore the pack comes with spare led bulbs.Finally,I had to double mine up because the cable is so long. These are a real bargain, great heavy duty cable, brilliant little hooks to make an easy installation and really strong lightingI had ordered 2 sets, thinking we’d need to place them tightly for good lighting, but one will be returned as I had to spread these outEdit : I’ve now got 3 sets, 2 taking in all the garden and keeping one set as back up as so good I didn’t want them to go out of stock !Simply a brilliant great value set

The individual lights are 93cm (just over 3ft) apart, not 1m. This is important if you are trying to fit neatly on 6ft fence panels with wooden posts in between, 1m would have worked fine, 93 cm means you can not have lights on the posts evenly with one in the middle, they are short by a few cm. Otherwise seem good, nice and bright 2w each bulb. Can not comment on durability yet as just put them up.

A friend had these so we decided to buy some too. Each bulb attachment has a hanger so nice to position and feel sturdy. We have one string but they have 2 and found them easy to connect. Outside mains essential. Good size cord between first light and plug. Really bright too! Would definitely recommend.

After trying numerous solar lights I gave up and tried these mains powered lights . So so good it’s transformed an area of our garden . From looking out towards them and being in the area of garden where the decking is it feels totally different . Almost certain I will be adding some more to extend the effect . Superb product

Brighter than I thought, which is good. Often LED light of this nature are not very bright at all and are more decorative than usable for the purpose of providing decent ambient lighting. I used them on a gazebo so the hardest job was spacing them out so they looked okay, but once you get your head round it, it went okay and id have to create a few small loops to make it all fit well. Would recommend.

These go down one side of our garden fence and look amazing.There may be cheaper sets somewhere on the internet but these are designed to be left out all year and seem really robust and sometimes with things for the garden, you get what you pay for.They give off a bright yet warm light, perfect for entertaining or just sitting out in the garden with a drink on a summer's evening.You can even add to this set if you needed more lights.I'm very happy with this purchase.
