SwaddleMe Pod – Newborn Size, 0-2 Months, 2-Pack (Excursion)

I brought these to the hospital when my daughter was born, my husband was great at swaddling her but she would always houdini her way out of mine. These made her feel secure and comfortable, she has slept in them from 0 to 3 months, the perfect swaddlee and they make diaper changes at night SO easy. Our daughter never woke up during a night change due to the dual zipper and that she always felt snug up top!

Love these swaddles for my baby. They’re so much more easy to use than wrapping her up in a blanket and her coming undone in the middle of the night. The material is super stretchy so you don’t have to worry about it being too small or smothering. They keep her nice and warm. We have used them since she was about a week old(8lbs, 20inches), she is now almost 6 weeks and 10lbs, 22inches and they still fit great!

I love this swaddle for my newborn. Definitely good for babies on the smaller side (she is 8 lbs in this photo). She was a preemie and is already a month old and this swaddle isn’t huge on her like many of the others are. With that mentioned, if your baby is on the bigger side then you would need to size up pretty quickly from the newborn size. Good material. Has a double zip so would be ideal for babies in the NICU or for middle of the night diaper changes if you have double zip pjs under it. Cute pattern and vibrant colors.

These have been amazing...no need to completely unswaddle for diaper changes. Bad flap on this one to cover the top zipper under the chin...worse than the other two pack we bought for some reason though they're the same except for color...check out the pictures for comparison. Fit our newborn at under 6 pounds. Too long, but snug enough to keep arms tight around body. Stretchy material so can move arms from side to chest but without open space or too much room.

These SwaddleMe pods are perfect. If you ever have tried to wrap a newborn up like a burrito, you know how difficult it can be to get it just right and keep it in place. These do all the work for you. You simply unzip the pod and lay the baby inside then just zip it back up. My niece slept well and seemed to really like being in the pod. It zips from the bottom and top so you can change the babies diaper without removing her from the pod. They are lightweight enough that the baby doesn't get too hot, but it keeps her warm. You don't have to worry about a blanket coming undone and covering the babies face or getting cold during the night. I like that there is enough space at the top for the baby to move her arms, but not wake herself up when startled. These are easy to take care of just throw them in the washer and dryer. These are great for new moms and grandmas.

These are a must-have! I am so extremely happy with this purchase. My baby girl has slept thru the night since about 1 month due to these. Baby girl was comfortable in, the material is soft and lightweight. I put baby in a onesie then the pod and baby wasn't too hot or cold. Note: I do think the zipper can have a better closure. Once the pod gets a little worn, sometimes there are issues with the zipper closure. Not the zipper part, but after you zip it up, sometimes the zipper head can come out of the piece of fabric (zipper cover) that it gets tucked into. Sometimes it stays and sometimes it does not. Overall, I still want to rate as 5 because the pod is awesome if you want baby to sleep and you of course need the sleep. Highly recommend.

The sleep sacks themselves are fine, but the sizing seems inconsistent. All of the zip compression swaddles from this brand seem to be listed as newborn 0-2 months, but as you’ll see from the photos, this is inconsistent. These are MUCH smaller than the blue dinosaur/gray pack and are too small for my 8 week old. The label even says something different, but again, the brand markets them all as the same.

My baby and I both love these swaddles! Pros: They are super easy to use and there’s two zippers for easy diaper changing access at night. They are soft and seem to be very comfortable for her to wear. My baby likes her hands up by her face and these allow her to move her arms up near her face, while still being snug enough to keep her tightly wrapped! They are pretty light weight, but we like that because she sleeps with footie pajamas underneath, and it’s summer. Cons: I would say, they aren’t the most snug swaddles I’ve seen. Of course, it helps with the startle reflex, but since these are so lightweight, she still startles and can move in them quite a bit. Since my baby loves them and sleeps well when she’s wearing these swaddles, I gave them 5 stars. But if you’re looking for something that wraps baby very tightly and doesn’t allow for much movement, I’m not sure this is the product for you.
