Buy Visual Basic in easy steps 7 by McGrath, Mike (ISBN: 9781840789768) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Written for beginners, but laid out poorly - For a book designed to teach you programming, I would expect that the code would have been written clearly and accurately. However, there are numerous examples throughout the text of typographical errors (missing spaces, code on the wrong lines, etc) which could catch out the unwary. In addition, the book tends to show you how to do something just once, and then goes on to skip those steps in subsequent sections. This could make it particularly difficult to follow for a beginner. It's a shame really, as the book leads you through the principles of Visual Basic quite well otherwise. If you have some programming experience and wish to learn Visual Basic quickly then this book is a good guide to get you started. Review: The book is easy to read and allows for follow-on practice to reinforce the topic. It also is good for a quick reference and reminder.

Easy to follow, but with errors in Chapters 3 & 4, so far.

This is Visual Basic, not Visual BASIC. If it was a snake it would have bit me. There is an official ANSI BASIC. I want to use that one.

Might as well of been written in Martian.

The diagrams are so tiny, they are impossible to read. Would like a refund. Cannot get a response from Amazon. Rating is zero
